He's coming back in season 3 so I'm sure it'll all be explained then.

Personally I can't see Merle going to the trouble of hording walkers into a van and setting them free near the camp, that seems insanely risky and I doubt he'd want to kill his own brother considering it wasn't his fault.

Personally I don't think they should show it, it might be too much. The idea of Sophia being alone, getting bitten, slowly dying from the fever and then coming back seems a little too heavy.

The whole idea that Rick might be somehow immune to the virus has been debunked. Remember when Jenner asked for blood samples? He later said their results were "nothing out of the ordinary" (or something like that), meaning that he already suspected that everyone was infected.

I like to think I didn't miss any, I watched that bit and I didn't see a single head shot. One walker had her arm blown off by Shanes weapon but I didn't see him actually kill one on-screen.
