Ok, so going deep story telling basics here: all good stories do well with a protagonist that everyone can relate to and see the events of the story through. So far in the TV series Rick has done a great job as a character filling out this role. I was just wondering to myself if this is going to continue to work as well going forward on the TV screen given that Rick is going to drift more and more away from being 'normal' as he adapts to the ZA and becomes more ruthless. Part of the story is the character's struggle with trying to maintain their humanity in the ZA and Rick is going to lose his grip on his some going forward. On the pages of the comic things are a little more detached. On the screen if Rick starts acting more ruthless and doing some hyper violent things, viewers might lose that identity with him. Just curious/excited to see how the show producers play this out. Maybe Glenn lends a hand in being the character people latch on to for 'identity'? Will be interesting to see how this works.
