Vintage Fee

I couldn't find any threads about this (sorry if I'm wrong!) which was pretty surprising to me since it's a world-wide phenomenon right now, but what do people think of The Hunger Games?

I was avoiding it at all costs, in all honesty. Purely by the hype surrounding it and the way the film was marketed, I assumed it was just another 'Twilight' and knew that if it was I wasn't going to like it.

I began reading The Hunger Games on Monday, and I am already about a quarter of a book away from finishing Catching Fire. The first book had me hooked in a way that many many modern books fail to achieve, and though the second had a slower start I'm finding it more difficult to put it down with each chapter! I'm definitely going to have to go out and buy the third one tomorrow.

I'm yet to see the film and have no idea if it has done the book justice. Any thoughts?
