PorkTornado is a freaking arsehole. He thinks he's funny when he's really not. Just go away. Some people actually care about characters.

So, I've stopped reading the comics since the group arrived at Alexandria. I just haven't bought the next volume on my Nook. But I've been reading everyone's opinions on different issues, and I talked myself into clicking on this topic.
How dare anyone say that this issue was dissappointing. First of all, if any of you are actual readers, you should know that if you set the bar ridiculously high, you won't be pleased. That's also with life in general. I can understand the hype being a little over the top, but that's from the reader's end. Not Kirkman. You guys were expecting nukes and tanks and bombs...like what the hell?
I honestly shed tears as I read about Glen. How can you say that it was disappointing!? Glen has been there, by Rick's side, since the beginning. I've read that he hasn't been that prominent in these past issues, but still! He brought Rick back to his family, for Christ's sake.
I don't know, maybe my opinion isn't valid because I'm so behind with the issues, but it angers me that someone can say after reading something as violent as that be disappointing. What did you expect, and I'm asking that seriously.
(the "you" isn't referring to everyone.)
(felt like I had to clarify.)

In Topic: Could You Put Down A Loved One Who Turned?

I always think about this whenever I think about zombies. "Could I actually kill someone that I love if I had to?" I'd like to say yes, but if I was ever in that situation, I'm not sure. I know for a fact that my mother would not be able to survive without taking a shower every day and she has a very weak stomach. I might have to kill her early on so she doesn't suffer. I think my stepdad could live, but I don't know about my real dad. I think I could put down all three of those guys if they were zombiefied. The hardest one would be my brother. He's my best friend, and I don't think I could look him in the eyes and kill him. It'd be extremely difficult.

The only time that "fangirling" annoys me is when the comments begin getting ridiculous.
Everybody has already said everything that I was going to say. I understand why Daryl is a well-liked character. Yes, in my opinion, he is also attractive (even with all the dirt and grime. I mean, c'mon, Rick is getting more attractive the dirtier he gets). People are just drawn to him.
But, the fangirling only gets annoying, to me, when they start making the most outrageous comments. "I'm going to be Daryl's husband. <3". Okay, you can be silly and say that, but some people are actually freakin' serious. Sometimes arguments break out about who he's going to marry. It makes me want to bang my head against a desk.
