So, with episode 5 "Indifference", we know where The Gov is at.

Does this change what we think about the radio broadcast? Could it still be a lure set-up by Mr. Blake? Possibly to draw out the prison group?

Odd, that the Michonne group didn't follow-up on it.

I've been wondering abouth this also, drive into a walker herd while fumbling with the radio then nothing more about it. Sure it'll come up somewhere down the line.

I was surprised not to see anyone fiddling with the radio at the end of episode 4 on the way back to the prison.

I actually wondered why the group isn't using radios anymore. During first season we could see that the team in Atlanta gathering supplies were communicating with the camp through a radio Dale had. Rick almost established contact with it from his police cruiser. They never used it ever after. I suppose it was stocked away in the RV which was toasted next to the barn in Season 2 finale, but finding other radios somewhere shouldn't be a problem if they can find all these weapons as well.
It would be much better coordinating supply runs and calling for back up if things go sideways than just driving of and hoping to come back soon.

Radios are too convenient for them not to be collecting them. I think if and when the group gets separated at the end of the season they'll reintroduce the radios and claim they were there all along.

What struck me was how far they are from home? No obvious indication.

Woodbury was filmed in Senoia Ga, which SW of Atlanta. In the show they mentioned that they were going to take route 100 to get back. Based on this I think they were headed for University of West GA in Carrolton GA which 41 miles from Senoia. The prison is within 10 miles of Woodbury so that works out to 50 miles.

even if that is where it is filmed that's not where it takes place it's called Woodbury for a reason
