I'm hoping the zombies become the villain again. The characters aren't even afraid of them anymore, although they're still quite a threat (they have the Saviors pinned in the Sanctuary). Hopefully the ammo-producing building gets destroyed somehow and they run out of bullets so that they only have close combat weapons to use, which should make taking on hordes of zombies much harder.
I have been saying this for months now. However, I would like to keep the ammo factory. It would be nice to have ammo for guns. The problem is though supplies for making the ammo are eventually limited and they'll have to stop making bullets. I think the ammo shop will get destroyed because of the war.

It just needs a little imaginationThey have a big storm...........they hide for a week............whoopie do.
A storm, earthquake, or fire could be a very compelling story for an arc
Imagine a group of a hundred motorcycles driving down a freeway. Eventually, they hit a junction. One road goes northwest and the other goes northeast. So one guy, we'll call him S, says, "Let's go northwest!" A mile past the intersection, a semi careens into the group and kills ninety of them. Ten are wounded, but they survive and keep going. Eventually, they hit 10,000 miles. S suddenly has his consciousness thrown into his past body right before the junction. Now, he says, "Let's go northeast!" All 100 bikers survive. Happily ever after, right? But what about the ten, no nine, who went northwest and survived? What happens to the reality they were living? Does it just disappear now that S has changed the past? It's not like only bad things happened on that 10,000 mile journey. Maybe one of them fell in love with a gas station attendant and got her pregnant or maybe one adopted a homeless kid that joined the adventure. That 10,000 mile journey would be full of stories. Romances, farewells, friendships...the loss of those ninety lives is horrible and unfortunate, but what would rewriting their history mean? The nine who survived lived full lives and did the best they could with the hand they were dealt. How could it be right to just erase all that? Isn't that worth something? Is there a point to a world where everything is happy? Are people who struggle for a better life just idiots? Being human is about fighting even when it seems hopeless and finding happiness in a world that hates it. Are you saying that's worthless?

When Jesus first makes contact w/ ASZ - he mentioned 2 other groups that trade with Hilltop. We've seen one of them - The Kingdom, but we haven't really seen MUCH of what the Kingdom is all about. We know so little about them... and absolutely nothing about the other group (Unless Jesus was referring to the Saviors).

Jesus also called Gregory, Kenneth so i would not really trust that he mentioned 1 community that we have not seen yet it could very well be a editing error like Kenneth turned out to be.I think Kirkman and Co. can come up with great story arcs involving the rebuilding of society after AOW. We've really just started to scratch the surface on the possibilities.

Plus the other group he mentioned could be the Saviors themselves he just didnt want to let Rick know anything about them yet.
that whole introduction to the Hilltop really makes no sense with some of the dialog if you go back and read it again.
"Yeah, let's fuck this dog."

Random, but can you imagine if an enormous fire ended up destroying the Alexandria Safe-zone because Eugene leaves the oven on or something? Lol

isnt the end of civilization enough of a natural disaster ?
They have a big storm...........they hide for a week............whoopie do.
I feel like having a natural disaster being the next major problem would be a little less predictable than creating a new villain. Plus there is still plenty of room for conflict within the group and outside.

I dont want society rebuilt that fact that society has crumbled is what makes this book interesting.
Just because the characters TRY to rebuild society doesn't mean that they will be successful. The struggle would be the interesting part.
So after society is rebuilt then what ? debates , people braiding each others hair , sharing recipes ,.........ugghhh.
yeah - that's exactly what I had in mind.

Besides, if they were to rebuild society to any big success, that would mean stuff would have to go the suvivors way.
Silly readers.
NOTHING ever goes their way.
Atleast not with a bunch of bad stuff happening shortly afterwards.
Alexandria low on food = Jesus and the hilltop offer them food. Yaaaaay!
Remember what happend like....2-3 issues after they went away from the Hilltop? All cheerful and shit?
Abe dead, and Glenn died as well. Negan has them all in an vice-like grip.
It's not always obvious to predict as i make it sound (not always), but whenever people seem to be really happy or just kinda...going with the flow, that's when i get the most worried about characters.
Not when things are really tense. Like ''oh shit, everyone is shooting everyone'' tense.
The war is actually worrying me less than the ''March'' if that makes any sense.
Anyhow....i would like an female villain.
But i do want her to have her own design.
So many games and comics nowadays seem...a bit lazy with their villain designs. Like....Last of Us.
Great game. But the character designs....whilst i understand why.....were nothing spectacular. If anything, they were really....''meh''.
Apart from David (who had the only really '' oh, he looks creep'' design that made me remember him), i dont remember shit about any of the villains. So if a female villain in TWD has that ''normal person'' kind of design, i will be sooooo bored.
Negan is the first villain in TWD that i feel both Adlard and Kirkman could go...a bit freestyle on.
Looking back at the Governor...he actually had no really noticeble features, aside from his mustasche and hair. And the eyepatch.
Heck, this arc is the first where i feel the designs are allowed to exhale. To go that extra mile that gives it it's own look.
For example....Ezekiel, no matter what people say about his persona, is a great design. Heck, he is probably one of Alard's finest in the whole TWD comic.
He and Negan are both refreshingly....''out there''.
If a female villain does appear, i want something like that. I want someone who leaves an impression on me, not only in personality....but visually.

I disagree; one of the things I love about both TWD and TLOU is that most of the characters are just "normal people", and I like that they generally just look like people you'd see on the street. So many games and comics nowadays seem...a bit lazy with their villain designs. Like....Last of Us.

Even Ezekiel was a bit much for me, at least before he revealed that his "king" persona and appearance was mostly an act (although I still think the tiger thing was dumb).

I'm just saying that for villains....they can take the extra step. And i get disappointed when they do not do anything to make him visually striking. A scar....clothing....hair...anything.
Nobody wants the generic bald dude wearing the white t-shirt and blue jeans, if you get my point.
And i get that some can think Ezekiel could be too much, but i still hold to the fact that it is fun to see a character with a design that takes some steps outside the norm. If anyoen thinks his design is ''unrealistic'', please. I've seen guys that dress 10 more eccentric than Ezekiel does.
What i guess i mean....i want the dude i see in my town that dresses all girly like. I want that one eccentric dude that everyone knows when they see him. I want the dude that takes ''Goth'' to another level.
Because those are all people you can see in real life.
Ezekiel looks like that type of guy. That is why i like him so much.

The Governor had shaggy, dark, long hair, a Fu-Manchu mustache, an eyepatch, a partially missing ear, and a missing arm. How does he not have many noticeable features? His injuries were pretty absurd, but they definitely added to his character in terms of noticeability.Looking back at the Governor...he actually had no really noticeble features, aside from his mustasche and hair. And the eyepatch.

Yes, but that doesn't change the fact that The Governor receives these noticeable features which make him one of the most iconic villains in comic book history.
Yeah, you are right.
But Hathawa is also right.
When i first saw him, i didnt think '' oh, this is gonna be an iconic design. ''
It became one as soon as we saw him return to the prison.
That is when i went '' Oh, this is a design that i wont be forgetting in the first place. '' This horribly wounded, angry, short guy covered in tons of armor. That is a great design.
And to point something else out, his hair wasn't shaggy.
It was super greasy and flat....and stringy towards the bottom, but never shaggy.
Shaggy.
Greasy.
Just felt like correcting that.
