I love that Morrissey ad-libbed the whistle in the factory. The man clearly understands psychological terror.

I had to go back and re-watch the episode because I didn't remember Andrea saying "Never say Never." when she opened the door to unleash the walkers on the Guv. My memory must not be that bad because she didn't say it. They edited it out, apparently.

I noticed the same thing when I rewatched the episode last night!

I would have preferred that it had been left in. It was a play on when they first met and she asked him about why he was called the Governor. She said it to him then. Now, I believe she is saying it to herself, as she thought that she could never kill him but now she is able to.

Thanks, Daybreak. That is amazing that they put that much thought and detail into that one song. It does make it much creepier.

Ya know, it's interesting that this is the second time that a fairly pivotal Andrea scene or line has been cut. It's completely changing her character, when you think about it (although this last one not so much as the earlier knife scene with the Governor).

Oh, it's about the fourth time (that we know of).

First one: the Governor waking up as she's about to kill him.
Second: Her scene with Hershel was supposed to be longer and a lot of important dialogue was cut.
Third: A "beautiful" scene with Daryl in Arrow on the Doorpost that would've made it clear why Andrea was returning to Woodbury.
Fourth: Never say never.

So many pointless moments could've been cut in order to put these in.

Not that I am aware of. Laurie talked about it on the Talking Dead.

We can hope it makes the deleted scenes when the S3 DVD is released.

Hmm, I guess I gave the crew a bit too much credit for the chase scene in the field, since Mazzara said it was an attempt to reference the old horror genres. I thought it was a call out to

Spoiler

Thanks, didn't know about the other two. She really seems to be getting shafted and left on the floor of the cutting room.

(Boy, does that ever sound like a loaded sentence, in light of the last episode!)

I just mentioned this in another thread as well. What they shot of Andrea and what we seen depicts her in a different light and should have been left in.

Great parallel! Maybe they are related and Mazzara just wanted to bring it to life on screen using the old school genre to make it more suspenseful or something of that nature.
