Spoiler tags please...

I haven't read the comics...

It's clearly marked in the title that this thread contains spoilers for the comics. I don't think I need to add spoiler tags when I've made it as clears as it gets in the title.
And even when you think I'm wrong, the spoilers in this topic aren't even that relevant to the story at all. A character with or without a scar doesn't really make a big difference in the story.

No, you are fine. As long as the topic is clearly labeled with "comic spoilers", tags aren't necessary.

I would point out, however that Andrea having a scar could be a considered a spoiler because it would reveal that she did have some kind of traumatic event happen to her. If the topic wasn't labeled with "Comic spoilers", then facts like that one, should be tagged.

I want her to get the scar. To me it's always represented what she's been through and what a tough survivor she is.

Both scars, actually. I think it's impossible to make Laurie Holden look ugly.

agree with this 100%, well with exception. to Laurie Holden not being able to be made ugly, I simply don't find her attractive....but that's just me.

note I am not advocating torture etc...but I do hope that it is a catalyst that develops her character out of the slump I feel she has been in since episode 1.6

Maybe she'll get the scar. I'd love that.

The scar is good as is the cheapest way to produce permanent damages on a main character.

Considering the makeup they must apply for zombies each week, it doesn't seem like a scar for Andrea would be that huge a problem. But if I were her, I wouldn't want to spend that time in a chair for each shoot.

And a question: What does CGI mean? I worked for the gas company and when I saw CGI, it meant "Can't get in."

Its computer graphics. Like some of the walker kills and hershel being shown legless. The best way for me to explain it is the movie transformers. All the transformers are computer graphics by computer than an actually actor or prop

It's like everything you see that's not real and vice versa. It are simply computer made things that aren't real. When, for example, Daniel Radclif is swinging with his wand in Harry Potter nothing happens in real life. They just add these effect with a computers. You could say special effects instead of CGI...

What you said

And I believe the "techincal" term for CGI is computer generated imagery. I'm not the biggest fan of it. Because it always ends up looking fake. I guess its personal preference

I like the old fashioned buckets of blood Gore. Especially in a zombie based show

Ehhhh, I think it'd be a hassle for both Holden and the make-up crew to always have to put on the scar every episode.
