This is my dilemma with Andrea. She's got terrible judgment in people versus Rick who's got everyone's number straight away. I love how she doesn't give up but it's excruciating watch her work it through. I love Laurie Holden and her work even though it brings me so much heart ache.

But I think that's a sign of good writing. When you have a character that evokes an emotion in you, whether it be admiration, disgust, disappointment, frustration... Otherwise, what's the point?
I think her character is fickle, is confused, is confusing, I don't think it's out of character for a lot of women that I've known in my lifetime. A lot of women make self-destructive decisions. I think Andrea's got good intentions, just she's the opposite of Rick. She doesn't think it through. She's impulsive and acts on emotion rather than logic. And she's stubborn, as women tend to be, sometimes. Fits in with the whole lawyer persona. Here's a woman who was an independent person before the ZA. She felt her life had meaning, and she's trying to get it back to that level, it seems.

It depends upon what kind of law she practiced. Family law is different than defense law, which is different from business law or tax law or insurance law. There are a lot of different branches to specialize in, just as there are many different types of doctors.

Did anyone notice how it was filmed more like a comic with all the shadows and angles? I'm not sure if it was a different filmer but the way it was filmed definitely felt different.

This was a good solid episode - better than last week imo. I am still waiting to have my socks blown off though! That hasn't happened for me yet this season.

Please tell me I'm not the only one; who with all these scenes of an eyepatched whistlin' Gov could only see this over and over in my mind:

A nod to Tarintino, maybe?

I can't open the link, but is it the torture scene set to "Stuck in the Middle with You"? I posted earlier that if we hear that song start up in Episode 15, I'm leaving the room! :o

Bwahahaha! I loved the character of Elle! Now that you mention it, the Governor's vendetta is very Kill Bill. And I went around whistling that tune for days after I saw the film. Much catchier than that creepy lullaby.

Same here. Now because of this episode, I've been doomed to whistle Elle's tune for at least a week. Heh.

Andrea should of taken Carol's advice and kill the Governor when she had the chance.

I am down with that,

I don't know why people are saying Maggie should kill the gov, if he actually raped her then of course she should but he didn't beat her and put her in a torture chair and almost get her killed like 8 times in one episode like he did with Andrea :P

I just need to make a comment on all the walkers that were in the stairwell. If people are coming back from the dead and attacking people I believe I would have missed my shift at the mill. I am so laying out of work if there is a zombie apocolypse. These people were dedicated.
