I got those vibe too. Merle is up to something.Alright episode, cool to see Rick and the Gov have face time with each other.
Also maybe I'm looking too far into this but did anyone notice the governor when referring to merle, said "he gets the dirty jobs done" with a smile. I know it's a reach but it could be a possible hint at a betrayal by merle that some were speculating. Again i doubt it with Darly being his brother and all but just speculating.
I'm surprised Andrea was able to get them together within a day - the Guv pretty much implied that it had only been a day since Rick returned from King County so how the hell was Andrea able to set up a simple meeting in that short time? Here's my review, overall I thought the episode was just okay (I voted fair), some highlights to be sure but one of my least favorite episodes of the season. Although I totally could be biased since I thought the last episode was so good and this one was just a build up.
-Am I the only one surprised Andrea got them together to talk in the first place? After the whole "no resolution" attitude of two episodes ago I would have liked to have seen exactly what she said, especially to make Rick come along. Of course both Rick and the Gov came there knowing this wouldn't be a happy ending, like Martinez pointed out. But in that case why meet at all? The potential for either to be walking into a trap would seem to great to go. I'm wondering if the Gov did have more men in waiting hiding because only sending Martinez and Milton for backup doesn't seem smart at all.
I agree. I could have done without the Maggie and Glenn sex stuff. And i missed Carol this episode.Meh. Average at best.. Probably the main complaint here is that the episode seemed pretty choppy. Back and forth between all these different subplots every few seconds. It feels like they think the audience has ADHD or something and can't stand watching a single scene for two or three minutes without getting bored. As a result of this, the narrative tonight was incredibly aggravating to follow along with.
Other big problems I had with it:
- The extended scene of Maggie and Glenn getting frisky was totally out of place and a waste of time; what, are they trying to compete with FX and HBO now?
- Carol was barely on screen throughout the whole episode (and when she was, she was nothing more than a background extra). Not okay in my book .
Shield yourself from those not bound to you by steel, for they are the blind. Aid them when you can, but lose not sight of yourself.

Set things up for the rest of the season, but a solid "meh" overall.
Glenn and Maggie's sex scene was a little longer then it needed to be IMO.
Was excited after hearing Andrea and Hershels conversation...but then she got in the governors car and went back to woodbury.
Edit: I guess we're left to assume how the meeting was set up and how Andrea knew about that place. Also how did the governor know Rick brought back all those guns?
