I would hope his full return will come about. If not, it would seem like a waste of an episode to go and find him alive only to leave the ''loose-end'' still loose. I think he will return at some point, but maybe not before Season 3 ends.

He is indeed a solid actor and I think him returning to the main cast would be an excellent addition to the show.

What I took from "clear" is that he's not ready to move on because he doesn't have a clear head. I think seeing Rick gives him hope of survival and I do believe that he will at some point travel to the prison. Not sure when but this is not the last we have seen of Morgan.

as others have said, we have not seen the last of Morgan. i really like this character, and hope he shows up in Season 4.

I just hope the Guv doesn't find him first. He knew Rick brought back a big stash of weapons. If he were smart, he would find where it came from. If he did, he would find Morgan. I want to see Morgan again. I want to see if he's okay.

I would honestly not mind Rick dying if the show got Morgan back full time and Rick's death served a purpose in the story.

I think he will come back as they left that character alive and he has now made a connection with more than just rick/ he knows of carl and michoone even though not spending any time with them basically.
Morgan will come to play a good part somehow with rick and carl in future seasons

I was thinking this too and mentioned it in another thread. The Governor knows about Michonne and Rick's gun run, so it's possible they could have been followed or tracked to King's County. I can see it playing out like (comic spoilers)

Tyreese's death in the comic, as you suggested. Rick and co. are in the prison when a truck pulls up and reveals a captured Morgan, with the Governor demanding a surrender. Rick will be torn, but won't surrender, and Morgan will get executed.

Like a lot of others, though, I hope this doesn't happen. I'd actually prefer never seeing Morgan again than to just bring him back just to kill him off real quick.

Ok, thanks guys, now I won't sleep tonight. Several theories have been floated about who would receive that fate, probably in the finale, and who of the possible candidates would have the most profound impact on Rick. Morgan really is a fantastic candidate for that. Dammit!! NOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!
