I'm not sure what they want to accomplish here. Giving the show a rating like that only makes kids want to watch it all the more.

I'm not exactly sure what the ramifications would be if the show was given a M rating. Does that mean it would be blocked if there are parental controls on the TV?

I did let my 14 yr old start watching, but she watches new eps with me and my husband. I didn't feel she was emotionally mature enough when TWD first aired, so I held off. Every kid is different.

My opinion is I don't think the M rating would hurt ratings. Lol, I had a good long explanation typed out, but I'm a lil heavy for my soapbox these days...
