Walkers behaviors vary depending on a lot of bio-physical differences, just as living people all have differences and nuances in their behavior.

As the Yoga Instructor said in 'Couples Retreat', "There is such a thing as muscle memory, you know. And I can tell...your muscles remember."

Walkers smell decreases over time as putrefication completes it's cycle. They are also moving around, whereas the poor dead doggie basically decomposed on the floor and his liquids pooled and soaked into surrounding materials. Given that our crazed loner probably wasn't all that clean and still living he probably contributed more to the stink in the room, but our heroes didn't know that because they didn't know he was there when the lines were spoken.

We also adapt to odors after long term exposures. Our heroes are also fairly deadened to the basic scent, only a real lack of or an unusually strong odor even gets noticed now.

Michonne believes the Gov sent men to kill her, but can't conclusively prove it to our smitten Andrea in a way that would convince her. She was an attorney, yes? She doesn't take the world's evil for granted like Michonne does. A good Yin/Yang in many situations, but not this one. I also suspect that why she chooses partners who counter her views in every possible way.

I don't believe Andrea was an attorney. i think she just worked in an attorney's office. I believe Michonne was actually an attorney.

In JJ&E, when Dale was arguing for sparing Randall's life, he appealed to Andrea and said that she was a Civil Rights Attorney.
They have not revealed Michonne's back-story yet.

the heads were in fish tanks, probably formaldehyde? and covered. penny was in a cupboard hidden in the locked room.

The guv probably lights incense to hide the smell. milton had incense so im sure the guv uses it. the guv is quite cultured. did you see his well tended garden in his courtyard. that was most delightful.

If you noticed the tanks he actually had some sort of filtration set up. Theres a few shots where you can see bubbles I think.

yes, that's why i assumed they were fish tanks. do walkers need oxygen??? those walkers have no lungs, so why the filtration???

Well, since he apparently trusts Milton, who says that walkers are "slowly starving" to death, he may also assume they need oxygen of some sort. Of course, bubbles in the water would imply (a) gills, or (B) "cutaneous respiration," through the skin. OK, never mind, not sure why there should be bubbles in the water.

This is the only season I've been so completely aware of the mechanics of "writing." Instead of flowing along with the story, my mind is questioning why in hell the writers would embark on a given path. Michonne's silence and Andrea's naivete are unbelievable. So much so, that one is completely aware of the writing behind it. Hence, the story loses its ability to inspire apprehension or identify with a character.

The debates within the threads are evidence that this season was written like a synopsis with too much left to the viewer's imagination. Personally, I miss the character development. Not being a comic reader, I can't fill in the blanks as readily as those who do. This show may lose me if it continues. If I have to devise my own scenario, better to write my own.

I think the problem is when people assume that it's "naivete." In my view, Andrea's behavior has been entirely consistent. On the TV show, Andrea is attracted to ruthless, aggressive alpha males and shares their view of the world. That's just who she is, at least on the TV show. I think this has been made very clear, but some people just won't accept it because they want her to be the way she is in the comic book.

Agreed.

She showed right from the first time Rick met her, that she is no rocket scientist.

In season two she shot Daryl because she wanted to show off her 'skillz'.

She is no dumber than she always was.

Yep my thoughts exactly.

In the comic, Andrea is intelligent, trustworthy and skilled/ responsible with a rifle.

She's nothing like that on the TV show, and some people are ticked off about it.

Some people might not like the way her character has developed on the TV show, but that doesn't mean there's no development.

Andrea might be attracted to alpha males, many women are. The ZA is not the time to be attracted to men who are too sensitive and caring. Daryl is a kind hearted guy but he is ruthless in killing zombies. Rick loves his family but he can make tough choices.
Dale was concerned with ethical behavior and maintaining their humanity, nice guy but no women in the group were attracted to Dale.

Andrea's attraction to the governor is based on her need to find a sanctuary, security, and a good supply of make up, hair products, and alcohol. She wants him to be this heroic guy so much that she sees what she wants to see. She wants to believe that Woodbury is real because she can't handle going back to a nomadic life with just Michonne.
How will she react when she knows that her original group has been captured and tortured by the Governor and Company?

Definitely. Watching that scene again, it's clear that was a trick of the light due to the strap from her scabbard and the folds that caused in her shirt. When she shifts, you can see that her shirt is intact and no nipple is visible.

false, that is a nipple
