From what I have heard here, they killed him off to fake out the audience so Lori's death would be a surprise.

What a shitty reason for getting rid of him - especially after they actually gave him some meaningful lines.

Stinking hacks.

but tdog was already a side character the 1st 2 ssns. he looked like he was working out and ready for some lines this ssn and was immediately erased and for who?!! Lori. she is worse of a handicap but at least with the time skip between seasons we know that she can now at least use a revolver and knife

Not sure what has happened so far as emasculation. She's overprotective and refuses to allow him to put himself in danger. When she went out on the supply run to the nursery, it was because she felt she needed to keep a personal promise to Lori about taking care of the baby. I didn't expect Glenn to "protect" her by telling her to shut up and he's going instead.

Overbearing, yes. Emasculated, no.

Hell, the comments in this thread to convey hatred of Glenn is emasculation.

EDIT: I think a big reason why it seems that Maggie is emasculating him is because her personal growth has increased much more than his but this is caused by the writers. From the end of S2 to the first episode, she went from 0-60 in 2 seconds.

I think the real reason Maggie went is so that Glenn wouldn't have to ride bitch on Daryl's bike.

Ha, she saved him from emasculation. Good viewpoint.

I might have missed something in an earlier episode, but I didn't think Andrea had previous knowledge of 'turning' without exposure to a Z. She was not with the group when Rick announced that everyone was a carrier.

It seemed like a continuity error. But, hey, I could have missed something while I was making popcorn.

Did she learn this at Woodbury prior to her scene with Milton and Mr Coleman? Or from her time with Michonne?

She and Michonne found out by the Governor that everyone is a carrier and that people turn after they die without being bit, scratched or died from any type of non head injury

I liked this episode but im starting to feel like there is too much in an episode to concentrate on. I think that when this comes out on dvd and we get the chance to watch episodes back to back in a marathon this season is going to be EPIC.

This may have been answered, but what Carol said to Daryl was after Daryl told her to stay safe was 'nine lifes, remember?'

Also i saw the look that Michonne gave Oscar, she definitely looked impressed, it wasnt much but considering that she has pretty much glared all season it was a big thing

Yea i think she was impressed by how efficient they are at killing zombies.. in formation, taking turns on the closest Zs so ppl dont get too tired or close, no gunfire as to not attract more.... she was def impressed that they werent just wild/reckless in theyre approach to taking out Zs.

She also was investigating, listening to Rick thanking Daryl for helping with the baby...shes realizing they are an efficient, close, family-like group that genuinely care for each other an look out for each other. I think shes realizing this is the kind of group she'd like to be apart of..unlike Woodbury!

I just rewatched episode 7 last night. There's a part, just after Rick jams his thumb in Michonne's wound, and Daryl tells her "You're about to have bigger problems than just a bullet wound!", where Rick puts his hand on Daryl's crossbow, and softly whispers, to him, while eyeballing Michonne: "Choo, choo, choo...Put it down."- as if he were calming a German Shepherd, or his lover, or something. Rewound it several times, with my girlfriend, and it was consistently hilarious, every time. The only way it would have been funnier, is if Rick put a single finger over Daryl's lips, "Choo, choo, choo..."

first action figures, then this. hilarious. i thought the same thing when i saw that. "shh, shh, shh... eeeaaasy boy."

i liked last night. i think i liked last year's mid-season finale better. i get so fired up when shane rallies everyone to storm the barn.
