I think Daryl will kill Merle because of who he is now and his role for the group. He no longer acquires any sort of personality like that of Merle. Eventually there may be a point where Daryl will have to kill his own brother in order to keep his group safe

Nice poll chryz707. I voted Daryl, I think it makes sense for him to kill his brother as a final way of showing his independence. But I agree with you DrManhattan89, that may be too much of an obvious choice.

I dont want him die because Merle Dixon is my favorite character.(Really) I love Dixon brothers and nobody can kill Dixons out of kill each other. I think Daryl will kill Merle or Merle will kill Daryl. 2 choice is gonna make me feel bad.

Yeah. I sure have no objection to him dying. He's a mad dog now (this week, anyway).

It is a shame, though. It would have been a very cool plot twist to have him reform from the creep he was into an honourable man.

Really a lost opportunity. Lost to a cliched resolution - we all expected him to come back and haunt the group when they left him.

True. When he confronted the Governor to let him look for Daryl ('He's my brother') I was hoping for some sort of backstabbing.
But hey, who knows.

Daryl is too predictable and at the same time hard to believe. Merle his brother after all. I can't imagine him killing Merle. I can easily imagine Merle killing him though.

Voted for Michone, but I think Glenn or Maggie could do this as well, of course if these two are going to survive next 3-4 episodes (I sincerely doubt so).

While it may be a predictable thing for the writers, I choose Daryl. O-h-h, the psychological tension and drama. Daryl has found the kind of family he never had with his brutal brother. And now, his brother wants to destroy that family? If Merle threatens Carol - that's all she wrote.
