I mean, when/if they fight the Governor if Rick's group don't get more people than they will most likely lose. They had more people in the comic to fight and they have less in the TV show, so do you think they will bring new characters in? I mean we have two inmates Axel and Oscar but I don't think that will be enough.

Well it might not go down like it did in the comic either. And we haven't seen the Governor's men yet, maybe they are a smaller group on the show as well.
