I got a very hostile feel from it.

I did, too (I think I mentioned that in another thread about Carol). That's why when she later says that Rick's doing a good job, and seems to be favorably disposed to him, it didn't really make sense to me (crap, I think I said that already, too, now that I type it). Maybe she was just ingratiating herself with Daryl ... ?

She's hostile towards Rick when speaking with Daryl at the end of Season 2.

Come on guys - really? Do you actually think that Carol deliberately shot at Rick?

Carol did question Rick's leadership at the end of last season, as the hungry, cold and exhausted group sat stranded in possibly walker infested woods, after more than twenty-four hours of hell. At the beginning of this season, after many months, Carol acknowledged to Daryl that she had been wrong and that Rick had got them farther than she expected.

Rick knew Carol's ability or lack thereof with a rifle but he put her in the tower anyway. I know nothing of guns but people with better knowledge of gunplay have explained on these boards how the near miss could have happened. I don't think that "Sorry" was hostile but rather chagrined - and then Carol and Rick moved on.

Very true.
On top of the hell night, they just found out they all carry the infection. That would take some time to process.

And do people really think that Carol is going to try to shoot the man who is leading them into the first potentially safe place they found in months???

Who ever thinks that Carol shot at Rick on purpose??? That's bullcrap! Why would she kill the leader? Like someone else said "she told Daryl that she was basically wrong" She and I quote "Rick's gotten us a lot further than I ever thought he would, i'll give him that." and then she saids "Shane could of never of did that" Carol trusts Rick now and believes in him..she wouldn't kill him. That shot was a mistake and even she said "sorry" even though it sounded funny the way she said it:)

First off, relax a little  . And secondly, she could have just been saying that to placate Daryl and stay on his good side since he so vehemently sticks up for Rick every chance he gets. Not that there's anything wrong with that, Rick is a fairly straight forward and all around good guy.

I'm gonna have to disgree with you on this one, Daryl and Carol are close. She's on his good side no matter what and everyone knows it. So she didn't have to say that just to be on his good side cause she's been on his goodside and still is. You can tell that Carol trust Rick just a little at least. :):):):):):):)

P.S. it's hard for someone to relax when people talks about their fav character, that goes for anyone with a favorite character:)

Carol told me about how she nearly shot Rick after we cleared out that section of the prison. She giggled when she told me. I just smiled, I wasn't happy to know she nearly killed my husband but I didn't let her know that. Carol has been really good to me

*Weekly Update*- It's been chaos recently. Thank God I was able to save Hershel. Rick had to kill some of the prisoners but I back him with that. I really do. Me and Rick shared a moment, still not completly right but we are moving along...

It was just meant to be an endearingly funny moment. They also wanted to show that she hasn't become quite handy shooting it yet.

it was definitely an lol moment for me...'sorry'. i laughed all three times i watched my copy. i would love to see some backstory flashbacks of the winter survival and the crash-course zombie-killing training that the non-death squad members obviously got over the time lapse months...the death squad obviously being Rick, Daryl, Glen, and T, and it's missing members, the deceased Shane, and presumed KIA Andrea. somewhere along the months, they got shooting practice, squad tactics, and presence of mind in action. i saw no panic or chaotic movement in their battles with the zombies. color me impressed.
