Thanks LDG, Alien is one of my all-time favorite flicks. So is Jaws. @Reaper, some remakes are better some worse. I thought John Carpenters The Thing was better than the original (which I love), but The Day The Earth Stood Still remake was just aweful. I was very disappointed with the remake of The Omen, considering what a great cast it had.

I agree with you 110% about that post. ALIEN and JAWS are rox00rz and two of my fav movies and Day the Earth Stood Still remake and The Omen were garbage!! The Thing was cool.

Now the Texas Chainsaw remake was AWESOME. =D

Two big guys in masks chopping people up with landscaping equipment. I'm sorry but I don't see the similarity.

lol Saw is so boring it's like scream you can't make a good horror film based on a franchise.

Saw and Scream were ok movies but their subsequent remakes were hit and miss and all over the place.

I want the pureness,Zombieland F'n rocked I don't want Zombieland two 12 months later just to leech sales.

I can't get past that dopey mask in Scream. All I can think about is one of the scary movie scenes where the killer raps and smokes pot with Sean Wayans. (or his brother).

The Neverending Story - (one of my favorite movies)

When Artex sinks into the Swamps of Sadness. "ATRTEX! YOU'RE SINKING!!' Everything through the climax of this intense scene is heart wrenching. If the ending hadent worked out, I may never have recovered.    :P

I never saw Bambi.

One of the greatest movies I ever saw and one of the greatest if not the greatest makers of animation was Don Bluth.

I would of upped my own pristine copy of the scene but somehow I like the 16 mm

Oh and I freaking loved The Neverending Story.

I dont get SCARED per say but I've been very tense with suspense or stressed from intense scenes and stuffs. White knuckles from gripping the arm rests, etc. And I have been scared/shocked at times but not so scared I cant walk around in the dark or something after.  I REALLY get into movies. And many things have stuck with me from horror movies through my life.

When I was younger I would run across the floor as fast as I could and leap across into bed so nothing could reach out from under it and grab my feet. And i used to have a hard time sleeping because sometimes I would wake up at night and see a psychotic looking eyeball roaving around and peering at me through the cracked opening of my door.

Now when the power goes out from a storm at night while watching a horror moivie I do scream. mainly because the electronics in the room all make a loud noise when they go out. Heh.

The Beyond - Bathtub/eyeball scene
(obviously the video poster agrees with me that this is one of the best movie scenes - ever)

The zed rising from the tub haunts the FUDGE out of me to this day! The way the water drains away and he moans as he slooooowly rises and is all hairy and decaying and icky looking. And the music fits sooo perfectly. GODS!! *squeals*

Kick ass. Must watch this scene!!! It really starts getting awesome around 59 seconds in. Not to mention one of my favorite all time kills.

Oh and while im on the subject of The Beyond and the parts that freak me out I should include the spider scene. This scene makes me itch and squirm, regardless of the fact half the spiders in the scene are fake! (you can tell which ones too so thats kinda funny)

American History X - Curb Stomp Scene

This scene will always bother me no matter how many times I see it. Im hesitant to link the scene because its pretty explicit. (remember, we do have rules here)

But you can look it up on youtube if you want to see it. they even have a high deff link.
