I may give it a try. Never knew there was a BSG game but I absolutely LOVED the series!

Anyone play Order and Chaos on their iphone? Its basically pocket WoW. I love it =D

I was going to give that a try. Is it any good?

I played WoW for around a year. a couple years ago. There's a reason they call it the widow maker. I'm glad  they made the add on packs because I didn't want to keep up with it so I stopped playing. Too many wasted hours...

Brevik, the Norweigan serial killing terrorist, used WOW to disengage himself from society in the year leading up to his coup d eta.
I've never had a reason to be a user of WOW to escape reality.
some say his violent and escapist video use twisted his psyche, I say he used those games to disassociate himself.

I always wonder if somehow in this strange virtual worlds he inhabited he somehow met or spoke  online with one of his future victims.

what a cruel world we live in.

Oh snap. I remember this one. I was way into it last year from about March to Juneish and then it got really boring because of the insane amount of time and grinding required to level up and gain cubits to buy a better ship was ridiculous, unless you want to spend real money to get one. Then there was some update and it no longer worked on my Safari or Firefox browsers. The game would work for about 5 minutes and then crash. I think I only made it to level 21 or 22, which was really irrelevant because the ranking system ended was Captain on level 20 - 99. Maybe I'll get back into it one day, but I do recall a lot lot lot of bitching between factions over "oh the colonials are killing us cylons" or vice versa and flame wars would ensue or personal grudges between players. Totally not worth it.Posted Image

I have never been able to get into MMO's.  I think it's because:

1. I hate the idea of buying games on subscription, and
2. I like smaller time investments. I used to play L4D/L4D2, Borderlands, TF2, or something like that almost every day, but I never worried about what was happening while I wasn't there.  I got on, gathered friends, played for a couple hours, went away.  If it didn't show up, it didn't matter.

I did MUSH for ages.  Now there's a timesink.  The pre-MMO MMO.
