Jaqui not dead??

If the explosive finale of AMC's The Walking Dead left you wondering if Jaqui makes it out alive, Jeryl Prescott Sales says there's a little hint in the first season. "The DVD drops March 8, and if you watch Episode Six over and over and over again, you might discover something," she teases. As for Season 2, Prescott Sales says, "I think it is going to go further into the human dilemma, what these people have to deal with day to day — life and love and stress and losing people they care about and the struggle to survive. I also think they're going to see Michonne, the figure from the comic book that everyone's waiting to see."
So is this just a trick to get people to buy the DVD? Has she been recast for Season 2? Is she Michonne?

If she is fireproof! I am sure they are going to get a different actress to play the character.

Life is pleasant. Death is peaceful. It's the transition
that's troublesome.

Having Jenner and Jacqui survive could open up future stoylines I guess.
Its a stretch...

Could be in a flashback. Unless they have a lot of stock footage, they'd have to bring her back to shoot the flashback episodes. Even if they survived the initial boom, they'd be trapped under millions of tons of debris. They're not digging out unless CDC was keeping a cage full of mutant radioactive moles that bite them and turn them into umm... So no.
And I think it makes sense that Jacqui dies. If she had a role, she was the face of compassion. She was kind, looked after infected characters, and stood by her morals and ethics. How fitting that in a world lacking those attributes, the avatar of those ideals also die?

The obvious question is, what could Jenner and Jacqui contribute to the story line ? Jacqui seemed like the antithesis of the GNs Michonne. Haha ! Maybe the explosion knocks her into another personality ! Jenner too ! He becomes the governor.

I think Jacqui was making her decision from a much better place than Andrea. Andrea was grieving and depressed over the loss of her sister. Plus, he was extremely close to Andrea - anyone else could have tried to get Jacqui to change her mind.
