Now, I would like to start off that I think that I'm probably the youngest one here(possibly). Just finished my first year of high school, so yeah. (I swear this is relevant).
The Walking Dead has an astounding amount of die-hard fans. No one can argue that. But it's the people who "claim" they are fans, when they don't even know what the hell they are talking about.
Since Season 2 aired when I was in school, every Monday I'd hear some person talking about last nights episode. Nothing wrong with that, right? I don't ever talk about TWD other than with my brother, because we both watch the crap out of it. (Of course, I discuss it with you guys as well.) This is why.
Some kid comes strolling into a class, and is all- "Who saw TWD's episode last night?!"
Trippy- "I did! It was great! I'm a huge fan of it."
Idiot- "Me too! The cop guys is awesome, but his friend is better. Do you know what happened to his hair?"
And I'm just like... ;
People who say they are a huge fan of something, should at least know the character's name. One incident, I had to literally argue that "Carl" was not named "Carson", and that argument was with someone who had claimed to have seeing every single episode. I'd get it if you just started watching or something, but really?
Yes, to answer your question that you're probably thinking by now, I am a nerd/freak for this show.
ANOTHER THING, it kills me every time someone complains and is like, "Omg guise, liek whur all da zombays?!?!?!"
*sigh* I just, it just makes me frustrated. You guys can discuss.
