I seem to have a phobia of spoilers of some sort. It became apparent to me when I'd evade nearly any topic that mentions the word 'comic' and even scroll past threads which even give a slight hint as in what may happen in the comics or in the series. Mostly, I get worried in case someone forgets to use the spoiler tag and they accidentally blurt out something that may seem insignificant but reveals quite a bit, so I tend to stay away from 'the walking dead comic book' forum..

Of course, everyone hates spoilers because it ruins the show/book/comic for you... but are you like me, where you're actually afraid of finding out that your favourite character died or that something unexpected happened without you finding out by yourself? Or aren't you that bothered and trust that if the thread doesn't mention anything revealing, the comments won't either?

IFFFFFF.... people would follow forum rules and tag their spoilers, everyone could run around here and choose to click or not click on something. Unfortunately, not everyone agrees about what a spoiler is. Someone people don't want to know the type of gun Rick is using in Season 3, Episode 3 or the comic or whatever. Some people want to know the exact bullet type of that gun, who he uses it on, why and when. It's tough.

I don't blame anyone for not wanting spoilers or being afraid of accidentally coming across them.

I will state that we as the staff of the forum are trying our best to help tagged the untagged one and work with our "repeat offenders".

I like the spoiler safeguards of this board, but am fearful of a leak.

I have recently started reading the comics for some WD relief, and I don't visit the Comics forum.

I will, however, stop reading the comics at the end of Season Two.

That sounds more like madness rather than a guilty pleasure! Hahaha but I remember you said something about that in another thread.. doesn't it spoil the whole thing for you though?

Overall the users on this forum are great at making sure to tag spoilers so information doesn't leak, and most of the time they write so they never reveal information; just say things such as ''if the situation the OP stated happens in the series''.. which is perfectly fine. I just worry in case someone slips a bit of information which as you said, they might not think of as ''spoiler-ish''. I don't go as far as not wanting to see the gun Rick uses but deaths of characters, where they go or who they meet are things I rather not know about until I catch up on the comics.

But so far nothing has been spoiled for me x)

I was like you when I first came here. And then I clicked on one spoiler and then another.........It does get easier and easier but then I realized that I did not enjoy the show as much.. A really good show, for me, is when I don't see what's coming. So when Season 3 starts, I am going back to NO spoilers.

For what it's worth, you guys do a great job, but it's hard.  As you stated, we don't all see spoilers the same way, and sometimes, people will forget that they are in the forum for Season 1 (for example), and post something that most of us know because we have finished Season 2, but it's the Season 1 forum.  We have to be sensitive to someone who is just discovering TWD on Netflix and for whom all of Season 2 is a spoiler.  Even when we are careful and trying to be considerate, it can be tough.

Beware, I am emoticon-impaired.
