Would you create a character or play a existing character?

I know all of us walking dead fans have had some (a lot) of moments where we fantasize about how we would react to something that's happened in episode or season.
My question is do you fantasize about playing a certain character or have you created one for your self?
Mine is a tale about forbidden love with Daryl Dixon since he's socially awkward and a redneck and I'm.. well Asian!
But there are some epic fight scenes between me and him lol.

If I had to be an existing character I'd definitely choose Glenn since he's the most liked out of them all - Daryl is too much of a redneck I'd feel out of place.. Glenn at least is awkward like me! haha
However, I'd rather be myself if I could just because I'd like to see how I would cope in a zombie apocalypse. Would I still be myself or would I try to survive and change the way I am so I become stronger? Being someone else would leave me wondering who I could have been I guess.

Can't decide if I'd be Glenn, or be with him.

If I was in the show I would most likely die very quickly. I wouldn't be able to handle the zombie apocolypse. I know alot of people say "I would know what to do" or "I'd definetly survive" but no one knows for sure if they would be any good in a zombie apocolypse. Sooooo I guess I would just tag along with Jaqcui and maybe blow myself up

I'm not really interested in pretend or fantasy. I guess I would have to create myself as a character. I'm comfortable in my own skin.
Don't be scared. Come with me! It'll be fun. Promise!

Being an existing character would be boring. I'd have to create my own.

If I were to play myself I would be incredibly boring to watch. I'll do a bit of running, a bit of shouting in fear, a bit of crying and panicking, possibly pooping my pants and spend my time reminiscing about household appliances - "remember when I could use the washing machine? Ah, those were the days!". So I'd have to be someone else, it would be terrible tv.
I got me some horses to ride on, to ride on.

I'm with these guys... there are sooo many possibilities in a Z-A. Getting into a character already created means you'd have to follow the "rules" of the character. With your own... heh... you can make 'em up as you go.
Would I survive, honestly it largely depends upon the circumstances that I find myself in at the moment. I may end up being screwed because I was trapped somewhere and the place is being over-run... I would definitely try to find a place to run to or hide best as I can.
Honestly I'd be more worried about being SHOT at by cops or soldiers than getting eaten. Either way... I would fight fight fight to the last.

It's awesome to watch Rick transform just through the first two seasons. This is a main strength of the WD series--the ability of the characters to adapt.
It would be hard to assume how we would react in a general societal collapse, but I consider myself to be rational, empathetic and able to think things through in a crisis situation, much like Rick.
Now, where is that panic button?

I'm wondering where #1 all of the Jewish characters are; and #2 where are all of the musician/artsy types that could lend not only a sense of entertainment to the group, but also some conflict in that the "artsy" types might be relatively clueless as to the survival skills, and might come up with some "Shaun of the Dead"-like comeback to a character like Daryl's protests that they won't eat squirrel: "But I'm a vegetarian, mate! And I do play a mean guitar!"

Those types of people were not cut out I suppose. apparently Jews can't handle zombies?
