C'mon I know at least Tex must have had a tear or two?

I had a few hangover tears when they played God Save the Queen and her grand kids were there singing along.

Did anyone else shed a tear or felt very stirringly patriotic?

I ain't no Brit, but I never felt any connection to our Dutch queen, since her role is nothing but ceremonial.

So I guess I do not understand where you are coming from here.

Well, I got a bit choked up watching her Maj and Philip the Greek on the Thames. I was more impressed with the turnout, it still goes to show that the Royal Family are popular as ever. However, I've been a busy bee this weekend sorting out the street party (which went very well, and thanks for the tips on the booze Barry, people were a bit reticent on drinking the Pernod concoction, so I ended up using a bottle of Malibu instead - went down a storm with the girls) :)

I recorded the concert last night and look forward to watching it sometime today, thats if I can wrench the remote control of Mrs Tex and Jr while they watch Eastenders, hollyoaks and various other examples of TV drivel.
I got me a plan - it's called "save ass"

Please tell me that ZombiU is set in a survivalist, open world scenario where the key is to ekk out your own existence in a world over run with walkers not run around collecting cash and fighting mutant boss type zombies, dead island/left4dead crap.  I'm all for killing zombies but can someone seriously make an open world where you have to escape from say London and out into the countryside to a military camp?
Dead island had all the potential of a really fantastic zombie game yet was centered around how much money you could find and points earned and those God awful missions.

No, it's not an open world game. It's made exclusively for the WiiU, so it's confirmed for shit. The closest you will get to open world at the moment is DayZ, however it's still in the beta stage process, much needed tweaking is to be done, still buggy and takes a while to get started, but once you do, the game is excellent.

Didn't. But I watched it, and pondered what would happen is she reigns for another 10 years, at which point my 5 year old informed me that the "little old lady" couldn't possibly be the the queen as she had no crown. Oh well.

I cried at the fact that I was spending the evening with people who were a few decades older than me, drunk out of their minds and singing 'Delilah' in a gazebo...

Early night for me that night.

I bought Arma 2 at a store and not via Steam.  So I'm S.O.L. trying to play that game unless I go and buy it through Steam.

It looks fantastic though.

at the end of the concert when they all came on stage, Queen etc, some guy had that cushion and I thought it had a crown on it.  But it wasn't.  I was thinking thy were gonna re-"Queen" her like a coronation.

Then she got all Illuminati on our Asses and pulled out that pyramid looking crystal and inserted it into the stone.

My only regret was that it didn't wake King Arthur from his slumber and retake his nation back to glory.......

He's was a living legend and loved (still is) by all in Britain, even the Gay hating crowd loved Freddie.

It's a true shame that we lost him so young when he had SO MUCH to give.
