Ok, sorry for any Haitians reading this, no offense but as soon as this story broke I believed that it WAS somehow linked to Haiti.

Just read today that the "Zombie" is originally from Haiti.

Could this be somehow connected with voodoo?  Someone using voodoo to reanimate or to drug a person into becoming a Zombie?

I also read about a secret society of voodoo priests in Haiti called the bizango, that are able to run the country through fear of their voodoo powers.  Dont know if thats true, but in the same article , I also read that zombification was reserved for "punishment" of people that broke the bizango's rules, not for free labour anymore.  And lets assume that the serpant and rainbow postulation of two chemical/drugs (puffer fish poison and datura) is responsible for zombies, not magic. and i read this on a page published before all this broke.









So what? theories?   First his parents pissed someone off and fled haiti, and they found him. another version, HE pissed someone off.   They caught him, and zombied him up , commanding him to eat the first person he sees, cause they know he will be killed.





Or most likely, he was on crazy drugs of free choice and wigged out....and just HAPPENED to be from haiti.... its just crazy this guy is from haiti and i cant wrap my head around it.
