Is it possible to get a password protected members only board for adults that may want to speak more freely? I've seen other forums put this in place and it works fine. It would only be given to those that request and have posted or been a member for a certain amount of time.

Problem is, the 18+ sections of a forum usually just end up being about sex. Which may be the point lol, but doesn't really seem right, having an entire board just discussing fetishes and freaky pornos. Just makes a site feel a little trashy IMO. I realise what a fuddy-duddy i sound like

Porn was not really what I had in mind, nor sex, although I am an adult and hey, I happen to talk about and engage in sex from time to time (who would have thought ). Even if the fear were that conversations would become more erotic...is that really so bad? I mean here we are on a forum talking cannibalism, men, women and children being blown up, shot, hands chopped off and all sorts of violence but sex is the big bad dirty word? I attribute our lack of social graces (sorry, didn't mean to lump anyone but myself into that) to general boredom. Now that we are in the middle of seasons, we have all rehashed the same stuff over and over and I feel so redundant when I put in my two cents (even though alot of the new threads are done by new people to the board, and my opinion is probably new to them). I'm sure there are quite a few people who don't dig back into threads that are too old, although I'm sure many do so I still comment. I really can't wait til the new season starts, so I'll feel as if I have something productive and new to say.
