Annoying TV commercial

I mean it was not cute the first time I saw it.
Does it bother anyone else? Do women see it in a different way? Are any men not irritated by it?

Get rid of the offending parties, you know remote forest with mass grave. Destroy all copies and records pertaining to both the offending parties and media. Deny that any of it ever existed.
Now I know some of you are thinking that's rather harsh, but really, watch that clip again. If this sort of thing is not scourged from the face of the Earth at once...........well, I think we can kiss society as we know it goodbye.

Why is it that all commercials are just outright annoying now? I definitely don't want to buy their product after viewing them.
Although, the best commercial of all time is the IKEA lamp one. "That is because you're crazy! This lamp has no feelings, and the new one is much better!" Love <3

That one doesn't really bother me at first exposure. I am sure it would get old fast if they run it every half hour.
The crying thing made me throw up in my mouth the first time I saw it. Yours sold me nothing and I didn't catch the product. Mine convinced me to avoid Verizon for at least 2 years after the last time they run that pos.
I win.

It hasn't stopped here Tom, they've mutated... This was only the first in a long series and, on my first viewing I too did a sick in my mouth, then I burned out my eyes and poked skewers in my ears; only then did it convince me never, ever to buy anything from either this company, any companies affiliated with that company, anything advertised by the advertising gurus who'd produced this tripe for the original company, or indeed anything from a similar but rival company unless there was a small chance that my few pounds sterling in their coffers would be enough to send the first company under, taking the whole shebang with it.. However, I digress. There have been many worse and varied follow on adverts with that... that... thing in them.
EDIT: I win.

Specsavers are a national optician here in Blighty
This particular advert for Fosters is a bit of a meme in our house (the rest of the series is tripe).
And, still my favourite advert of all time...
It is not that I've been sitting here, inserting media files willy-nilly. That would be wrong. And painful.

The pessimist in me thinks all advertising will become more and more annoying as ad execs become increasingly desperate to prove that advertising still matters.
I LOATHE any ad I can't fast forward through or skip. The crying one is particularly irritating. I also can't stand the blindsiding sob-inducing cause-based ads (I'm talking to you Sarah McLaughlin, your stupid Angel song, and the ASPCA).

In other news, Geico just saved a ton of money on their advertising expense by switching to multiple spokespersons; the profit must seriously be up now.
They got what, cavemen, guinea pigs, the gecko (of course), random witty commercials such as getting a panther to be your home security device and the local pretty middle school girls to be your fat loss plan, and now this guy as well:

^ ^ ^ This guy is in EVERYTHING...
Honestly, pick a spokesperson and run with it. The cavemen have ran their course, and the above guy is just plain annoying. Guinea pigs? You're kidding me. Run with the random witty commercials and the gecko and that's plenty...
State Farm has some good ones such as the Aaron Rodgers adverts, car up the pole, "We just had ourselves a Journey moment," and "What are you wearing?!" "...Khakis..." All-State as well with the Mayhem guy, I don't mind those.
Flo the Progressive Girl, however, is starting to get annoying as well:

Agreed about the Sarah McLaughlin ad, also the Alyssa Milano ad. Like life ain't sad enough without that crap being thrown in your face 3 times during one show. I can't even read a sentimental hallmark card without tearing up... and it's totally annoying. I realize that starving kids and abused animals need help, but all those images being ingrained in my memory, repeatedly.... no wonder people suffer from depression. A phone number and a few words would be fine without the melodramatic music and the sad images.
Mayhem guy is awesome. I'm pretty sure he used to be a cop on the first season of SVU.

What the hell is wrong with people?
The only funny thing that has happened, is that some of the local businesses have started parody ads that are pretty good. Now, those I may patronize....

He was. He also played Ryan O'Riley in HBO's "Oz," which was just a great show. In an interesting bit of trivia, the guy who played his brother Cyril on that show is actually his brother in real life.

The ASPCA adds are a horror to me. I leave the room as quickly as possible. The images still stick in my head for weeks. It would be acceptable if I didn't suspect they, like so many "charities" are just a money generating scams. I donate to the local no kill shelter and the Elephant Sanctuary in Tennessee. Then I know where the little money I have to give is going.
Starving kids! Yeah, been there seen that. Any money donated there goes into corrupt government official's pockets or for arms to keep said officials in power. Business as usual in the third world. Used to know a guy who fought in Rhodesia before it became Zimbabwe. When they captured a terrorist base, he said they had plenty of food. All of it labeled UNICEF, as in United Nations Children's Fund, as in "Trick or Treat for UNICEF."
Oh well, I guess when all the kids are skinny, it makes it easy to spot the one wearing the suicide bomber vest. Note to any poor schmuck whose government sends him to do what I laughingly call "peacekeeping duty." If there's on fat kid in the group and he walks towards you, shoot him!
The whole worlds a scam kids, and we're the suckers who keep the scam running.
