I haven't read the TWD comic books but will the opening scene of season 1 where Rick encounters and kills a zombie girl at a gas station appear in the 3rd season. At first I thought the scene was from when Rick was travelling towards Atlanta because he is wearing a clean police uniform, with his hat, and alone. I read in another topic that it was the final scene, but like I said he's wearing a clean maybe even new police uniform.

That scene is from when he was traveling to Atlanta.  I don't think the person speculating that it was the final scene of the series was being serious, though it's a valid speculation for a weird twist even if it's farfetched.

I was just wondering about the opening scene of season 1 episode 1 and how I had read it would be the final scene of the series, apparently not.

this is what i'm speculating. Mindblowin!

The first scene is Rick in the far future. He's alone again having lost Carl and Lori and everyone. His mind has retreated to a safe place and that is when he was a cop. He's completely lost it and is wearing his cop uni and driving a cop car. He comes to a gas station. Sees a little girl and thinks she is still alive. But then relizes she is a walker and shoots her.

That actually would have blown my mind, and been a really cool twist ending.

But now its ruined, so hopefully not.

Or maybe Carl and Rick did the fusion dance from Dragonball Z and became Riarl and he's evil little now and shoots little girls.. What? Aren't we playing the terrible, never going to happen theory game? :P
