Found this and thought it'd be a fun thing... after you're bitten how-long would it take for you to turn... (this is assuming that you killed your biter and have gotten away and not eaten.

For me... 58 minutes... meaning I got some time to say goodbye to my love ones... if they're still around. OR I got time to hold off the hoard to let the others get away... noble, I know but that's just how I am.

I've got 1 hour, 13 minutes...quitting smoking wouldn't give me that much more time.  That's about enough time so say goodbye, kill a few more walkers, and/or kill myself.

1hr 16m.  Just enough time to make a last meal of potted meat and Doritos, and perhaps work in murdering that one guy in the group I hate.  Perfect.

Various factors in your answer(s) that determine it... so if you're bit... go out quickly on your own and just do it. Quick goodbyes and time enough to get away if you're going to do it yourself.

Just doing a quick analysis, If you are thin and lightweight you go fast.

Age is minor factor, sickness, colds, diabetes, bruising, anemia,  is a big factor, small size is a huge factor (traverses the body quicker).
For a reasonable fee, I will quell minor outbreaks, enforce quarantines, and dispatch infected relatives.

Id probably do alot of drugs, drink alot, find the actress who plays Yara (Asha!) in Game of Thrones and charm her, then, with just a few minutes left (I dont think in this situation Id last very long if ya know what I mean :P) Id hide my wound and start a conversation with someone I hate :)

I would pick up smoking after I got bit.  Grab a machine gun in one arm, feeding the belt through with the other.  Then, cigar hanging out of my mouth, make it to the top of a junk pile in a scrapyard, fire a few rounds to attract walkers then laugh like crazy as I started mowing them all down.  All the while, choking on my cigar smoke.
