To keep it simple, I've decided to keep the option to mainly those characters that have been affilated to the main group in some way, or at least made a larger contribution to the group dynamic. Sorry if I missed anybody, the other option is there so please expand if it is somebody I missed! Multiple votes are welcome because it is a large pool of characters and I think it's hard to pick just one!

Due to the nature of the world they live in most of our characters don't last very long. Which of the ZA casualties are the ones you miss most? Personally, of those that have died so far I most miss Tyreese because I feel he was a strong parallel to Rick that i don't think Abraham quit fits as well. I also always had quite a soft spot for Amy, which is strange as she died to early on, but I always felt like it would have been nice to explore the early dynamics between Dale, Andrea and Amy. Finally, I miss Carol too, I think that her decent into insanity could have been extended and explored more deeply, she died too soon in my opinion though I don't think this is a common opinion!

I have a hard time deciding between Dale and Tyrese.
There are no innocents, only varying degrees of guilt.

I miss Tyreese and Axel the most. Tyreese was one of my favorites, he was a master with the hammer. And I loved Axel's attitude, "you follow me?"

Allen and Tyreese.... uh... who's Jimmy?
Everyone is food for something.
Now, I just need to find something that eats zombies.

Hahaha i didnt remember Axel until i saw the "you fallow me?" , he actually lasted more than i though he would but someone i def. wanted more was morgan (not care about duane) when joined the group he was a mess and died the same.

I voted Donna haha. I hate the way they just made us readers start to warm to her, then kill her off! I've only read compendium 1 though.

Voted on Axel, Hershel, Jimmy and Tyreese. But mostly if I could have someone back I'd want hershel. That guy had farming talents and I liked his steadfast attitude. miss him ;(

I went Tyreese and Alice. tyreese was aweosme and a force of nature within the group, and one of the few people to ever actually standup to rick though that whole make decisons as a committee thing didnt really pan out. Alice was great too, helped in escape from woodbury and patched up a lot of people in her time at the prison with our group. she played a critical role in the longetivity of the group and it'd be nice to have her up in DC to aid in their medical staff.
Also, i like Regina, Douglas' wife. She was portrayed as kinda crocthety but was one of the few to step up and be like "what hell are you doing letting in this new large, probably dangerous group?!" if they had developed her i think she could have been a really cool hardass old lady with a very political mind which is useful in the world the charecters find themnselves.

Donna is a character who was not introduced at all in the TV show, she was a survivor at the original camp outside Atlanta, she was with her husband Allen and two twin children Ben and Billy.
Tyreese was a survivor the group ran into on the road before they reached the prision, he has not yet been introduced in the TV show though it is heavily speculated he will be. Some people say T-Dog is the equivalent to Tyreese but this is a common misconception I think.
Axel was a prisioner that was trapped within the prision when the group got there.
Another thing that is confusing is the Greene family as they kind of had a rehaul in terms of the transition from comics to TV show. In the TV show, Hershel had two wives. Josephine was his first wife and then had Maggie together. His second wife was Annette with whom he had Beth. Shawn (who was in the barn zombified) was his step-son, Annettes son from a previous marriage/relationship. This is COMPLETELY different in the comics. I'm not sure if Hershel had more than one wife, but it seems all his children are full siblings. He had (in order of age), Shawn, Arnold/Lacey, Maggie, Billy and twins Rachel and Susie.
Alice is a character that was in a town of Woodbury and left there to help Rick deliver Lori's baby.

Axel, Dale and Tyreese are the three I miss the most.
I also miss Donna and Patricia. Though they weren't the "coolest" characters they gave a touch of reality to the series. Both of them were killed off right when they were starting to get interesting.

I'd have to say Tyreese. Although Hershel was a nice addition with his farming skills.

Hershel, imo, has been by far one of the most well-developed and interesting characters in the comic, so him gone is a bummer. One thing I loved was how, unlike many other members of the group, he had genuine backbone. It would've been great to see him survive the Prison and struggle to deal with his own inner turmoil following Billy's death.
Dale and Tyreese, while not as favorable to me as Hershel, still were great. Tyreese, despite his flaws, still was able to prove himself as a better leader than Rick ever was (in many aspects). Dale was nearly the exact same way, minus the brawn (even then though, he was able to pull through some nasty shit).

I voted for Lori, Donna and Patricia. I was really shocked when they killed off Lori, especially because she was a main character in the story.Donna and Patricia were cool. They started getting more interesting but then they died

I really miss Dale. I loved Andreas relationship with him. Don't know what to think about her new crush on Rick yet.
I'd also love for Tyreese to come back (even though it's pretty clear he wont
). As said earlier in the thread - it was nice to have another kind of leader in the group.
