Okay just curious.. what exactly is a Spoiler? I mean... Once something has aired, how can posting about it be considered ruining it? Once it goes public clearly it's out there. That's like trying to classify the use of DDT in Vietnam ( Or was it Korea? Either way ) today. It's been made public. If I didn't get a chance to see the finale on sunday I would avoid the forum until i did.

I mean I can see being more careful with the topic titles saying "Opinions of Woman with Chained Walkers" Instead of Saying "Opinion of Michonne" I guess since she wasn't named on the show ( Until Talking Dead ) I get so sick of people pointing and screaming SPOILER!! RUINER! So long as forshadowing and knowledge from th ecomics of future unaired events or revealations is done in the
Spoiler
Then what is wrong with speculation on the part of people who may not have read the comic. Okay Sorry about the rant. I am done now.

Now I lay me down to sleep, I pray thee Lord these bites aren't deep.
Should I die before I wake, I pray thee Lord, my skull they break.

Not everyone gets to see the show or read the comic at the same time.  So even though the topic is out there, some people might not be able to see/ read it for a few days.  Wrapping something in a spoiler tag allows to you discuss something in the open, and leaves it up to the uniformed if they want to "spoil" it for themselves.

I consider anything that has not aired within the episode a spoiler - including the previews that sometimes run at the end of the episode. If the episode has aired in the US, it is no longer considered a spoiler. However, we still need to be considerate and subtle when titling a thread, so as not to spoil those members from countries where the episode hasn't aired yet.

Also, comic talk outside the comic forum should be in spoiler tags, unless the title of the thread specifically states it contains comic discussion.

I also think it is preferable for people to hint at what kind of discussion is under the spoiler tag.

ex.

comic talk:
Spoiler

major comic spoiler:
Spoiler

preview spoiler:
Spoiler

Also, whenever you forget to add spoiler tags, or see a post with untagged spoiler information, PLEASE hit the report button at the bottom of the post and let us know what needs to be tagged, so we can take care of it as soon as possible.

Thanks :)
