We'll miss you buddy. Maybe Michonne and Andrea will swing by the farm and pick you back up. You're important to the prison storyline so here's hoping *fingers crossed*
Where's the blacksmith??!!!!

It was left next to the barn, so it's probably extra crispy by now.

I was also disappointed to see it go. The last vestiges of Dale are gone now. The RV played a big part in their survival and it breaking down ended up being a huge point in the story.

Yeah, I think the best we can hope for is that somebody saved Dale's hat....

Good shout Xavier, I'd forgotten about the RV until you mentioned it (what with everything else going on).

I'm gutted now, it must be at least "fire-damaged".

What happened to the canoe?

Good point. Probably sitting somewhere on Hershel's land. Maybe the walkers can become rowers!

I'm going to have to go through the episodes now, canoe-spotting. That shot in the OP was the only time I remember seeing it (apart from Amy and Andrea's fishing trip).

You can clearly see in the shots where the barn is totally engulfed that the RV has burned up as well. It totally gets incinerated as the last group of surviviors is leaving the farm.

But, what about the canoe? Did you see the canoe?

I never really understood why they had an Old RV in the first place. If the world ended and everything was free for the taking, the first thing I'd do to get rid of the old RV and get a 150k tripped out new RV.

They couldn't really just "go shopping" when everybody around them is trying to kill them.

Alas, poor RV! I knew him; a vehicle of infinite space, of  most excellent defense against walkers; it hath borne the survivors in its cargo hold a thousand times; and  now, how abhorred in my imagination it is! My gorge rises at it. Here  hung those dippy affirmational sayings that Dale hath purchased. Where be your  gibes now?  (Apparently they are flame broiled in the barn.  R.I.P. oh noble Winnebago!).  :P

Bye bye RV but lets face it, would you want it after Jimmy was used as a brand of wall paint by the zombie interior designers.

Ha, good point, sunonmars. I just checked and the RV was on fire when the barn collapsed anyway. Plus Mazzara said via twitter that they wouldn't be going back to the farm (when asked whether they'd go back to bury the dead).

CANOE UPDATE: It wasn't on the RV when it burned, I can't recall seeing it in S2 at all. Maybe they ditched it?

LOL I thought that too.  Would be a big mess even if not burned up.

Feel really sad now Dale and the RV are gone.  I would also be trying to spot a dealership that wasn't over run to help myself to a new one.

After Dale died thay had to get rid of the RV, it was just a constant reminder of how the storyline could've been so different like in the comics.
Also im now intrigued because the RV was used alot in the prison story arcs so i now cant wait to see how they change it and by how much.
