Yeah, hopefully, the dialogue and the acting will be better in this one.

Its hard to imagine them spending that much money on the webisodes to do the army tank zombie any justice. It would be nice to see a Dave and Tony backstory, and who that Julie (?) character Nate mentioned

if their going to do a web series going into season 3, their most likely going to do a walker from season 2... dale-killers anyone?

See, I don't want any more backstories of random walkers. I want something that actually relates to the current characters and storyline. I want to see certain characters's lives as the apocalypse first breaks out, like Carol and her family, or Andrea and Amy.

I don't mind a bit of backstory, but what about some teasers about what Wildfire is...?

Tank walker story was Darabont's idea. There's no chance of it happening now. There is plenty of info about it on the interwebz.

Wildfire is just the codename the CDC used for the zombie apocolypse. Im assuming because the infection spread like wildfire
Naw, I'm sure Jenner said it was something like 195 days since Wildfire... I'm fairly sure they weren't six months into the ZA - were they? Can anyone confirm how long the ZA had been in action?
If I'm right, the infection was Wildfire, and it started to impact whilst Rick was in his coma by ~x days...

I think maybe one about Randall and how he lost his family and joined that group would be kinda good. Butttt, like people have already said, I doubt they will include any characters from the main tv series

The final fall/evacuation of the town Rick's hospital was in...expand on what was happening around Shane and Rick that day, start with police and fire emergency responders first Walker encounters and seque into the final hospital evacuation.

Something to do with Morgan and Duane would be great. Sort of a lead in and tease to a possible appearance in season 3.
Not sure if I care to see Well Walker's backstory. The "this is how this walker came to be" story has already been done so how 'bout something new?

I think that's the coolest route...familiar locations, different time. More insight into how the apocalypse started/the craziness of when it hit people instead of the aftermath. It'd be interesting to see the backstories of more Walkers.

maybe the walker that was hanging in the woods about how he ended up bitten or the two cops that were at the public works, how they became zombies with no bites.

A good story would be the back story of the hanging walker that had his legs chewed off.
I never could figure how that happened because to my understanding, the walkers do not eat each other. How did he end up the way he did.
He obviously knew about the outbreak before. It seemed he either left his home and tried to survive in the woods or he had gone camping while the apocalypse was happening. He then got bit and hanged himself. But did not die after the hanging and was it then that the zombies ate his leg?
There are so many questions surrounding his story.
I would like to see that in the webisodes.
Another good webisode story maybe that of Randal. There are so many unanswered questions surrounding his story. Did he go to school with Lori? Did he participate in the rape? Was he wicked? Was he loyal to the people? What happened to his family?
Then there is the story of the Morales family. What became of them? I would like to know if thye made it to their family or which of them survived.
I would like to see a story of someone who was caught up in the whole chaos but eventually survived. Maybe in the future, our group could come across that character. That maybe interesting.
They have so many options. I just hope they do a couple of stories because not having the show until the autumn will give some of us serious withdrawal symptoms.

For me I'd like to see the back stories on:
Dale, Andrea, Amy getting together
T-Dog and how he came into the group
Well walker
How things started off with Hershel's group and what happened to the family that turned

I sincerely doubt that they will do any webisodes concerning the main characters we see on television each week. Then they have to worry about continuity, paying those actors...etc. I'm tired and don't feel like thinking of other reasons to explain why they wouldn't do it haha. I think they're going to do webisodes like the ones they already have; ones based around characters we don't already know. I'd love to see another one explaining the backstory of a memorable zombie.

I don't think they would do anything that is critical to understanding the characters on the show, or even involve the characters. So I think a Randall backstory or what happened to Sophia, etc. is out. They need that mystery. I think the story of the tank soldier would be interesting but I think it would require much too high a budget to execute. I can't see that being justified for some web-isodes.
I suggest the following as a possible web-isode. Recall when Shane and Andrea went into some neighborhood and got surrounded by zombies and Andrea learned to focus under pressure. While they were searching the houses, they made their way through one that looked like there was battle between the inhabitants and invading zombies that resulted in a fire in the garage. Perhaps the story of what happened there.. Set up a few semi-prepared/semi-handy locals. Send a horde of zombies at them. They battle but are eventually defeated. Its a skirmish.. doesn't need a lot of FX or lots of actors. Give us some nice zombie killing and ends with defeat.. so we don't have any question of their outcome.

I like the idea of the sub-division that Shane and Andrea went to. Or, the back story of the little girl Rick had to shoot at the gas station in the first episode. Kinda weird how she picked up the teddy bear.

Glen Mazzara has already confirmed new webisodes, so....it would appear as if AMC does in fact want to shell out money for them.

Insight into what happened to the Morales gang would be cool, especially since there's no chance at all for them to reappear in the show.

Some ideas:
1. Back stories of all those in the group.
2. Back stories/stories of what Morales and co, Merle, Duane and Morgan, Michonne, etc have been up to.
3. Sophia's demise.
4. The Helicopter!!! (The hell was that about)
