Rick and Andrea possible romance. I'm really liking that element of the comics so far and I'm looking forward to seeing how it plays out (so long as Andrea doesn't end up dying, that is. Andrea's one of my favorites).

I think the first half will be clearing the prison/meeting inmates, and the mid season break, will end with:

Helicopter crash and/or Rick and a few others being captured by the governor, and the episode will end with some kind of cliff hanger.

The second half will continue the governor arc with

The governor attack, and the killing of Lori (and Judy.)

I don't really care of Zero day flashbacks, or how it all started, and I doubt we will find out much more.

-Lori lives (Shes one of my faves. I'm team Lori)
-Beth lives (I want her to live. They shouldn't just keep her just to feed her to the walkers or kill her off someway like what they did with Kimmy and Patricia)
-The pacing is good (I think this won't be a problem cause near the end of season 2 the pacing was fine and Glen Mazzara has said it would be like that for season 3)

I can't see Daryl and Carol getting together, I wouldn't mind a Michonne and Daryl hook up that makes Carol jealous. Maybe they could develope it as Carol believing there is something there but Daryl just not being interested? This could lead to a natural progression towards her comic demise!

I don't think we have to spoiler tag this sort of stuff since his involvement in the show is pretty much official, but...

...it's most likely going to be the other way around with Daryl killing Merle. At least, that makes the most sense. Plus, it wouldn't upset angry fanboys the world over, and Mazzara would get to keep his job (or his life for that matter).

Hmm...that would be nice. Daryl would be missed. And I just spoiler tagged it because I was thinking not everyone knows how the whole 'end of Compendium 1' goes down.  But you're probably right. I just hate being spoiled, so I'm overly cautious!

I agree.  I think Daryl is actually rather safe for the time being, but I do hope they bite the bullet and let him go at some point (I think it will eventually be appropriate to have him die in a useful, dramatic, and meaningful way).  The execs know that they'd be flirting with a very angry fanbase, though, getting rid of him at this point.  He's Boba Fett, after all.  He may find his way into a Sarlaac pit yet, though.
