I do like the idea of a love interest for Daryl. She'd have to be super rough and tough. She would have to be happy if he brought a squirrel home for her as a present.
Maybe other kids for Carl to interact with.
New eye candy since there's no more Shane.
Carol to get some combat training.
Andrea to find a guy.
AKA everybody finds a mate.
More background story.
Maybe find some form of mass communication?

She really doesn't look that old besides her gray hair. She's still young enough to have children obviously. People should keep in mind that Norman Reedus is 43 I think. Melissa McBride is 46.

- AXEL! I love that fool.
- Andrea and Michonne being BFFs and kicking ass like classy ladies.
- Ditto more scenes with Rick and Andrea. This relationship needs to be developed ASAP.
- T-Dog gets more screen time.
- Glenn and Maggie get married.
- I don't want Hershel to die, but I get the feeling he will

- Rick & Co. find the prison
- The Governor
- Return of Merle
Hopes (just a few)
- The Ricktatorship
- Cleaning out the prison
- The realization that humans are the real threat, not the walkers
- Running into Tyreese (and maybe any family he has with him)
- The group with Andrea & the group meeting Michonne
- Exploration of Michonne's personality - is she a threat or an asset?
- Explanation of the chopper leaving Atlanta
- Discovery of the Governors stronghold
- More info on Tony & Daves group - are they with the Gov'?
- Some T-Dog backstory dammit!!
- Some minor character deaths (Beth, Carol?? and some new people perhaps?)
- Prison inmates
- Lori getting bitchier so I can hate her more and be satisfied when she eats shit most likely in season 4 if they extend the prison arc that far.
- More Glenn & Maggie puppy love.
- I'd like to see Maggie get a little stronger, but I think she's turning into a bit of a wuss.
- Daryl, Daryl, Daryl.
- Hershel becoming more badass with that suit jacket blazer.
- Carol devolving into insanity because she'll put herself into a position where nobody likes her except maybe Daryl.
- Daryl & Merle showdown?
- Seeds of chemistry between Andrea & Rick

-Axel he is cool. "You follow me?"
-Tyreese
- I don't want to see the Governor until they get really settled in. It would be a waste if they introduced him right a way. There is much more to use from the Prison arc before we meet him.

As is just about every serious take on zombies ever. It's a staple of the genre, I wish people would stop pointing this out as if anybody really expects the show to be Die Hard with zombies.

- Introduction of Axel, Alice, or both (very interesting characters in the comic who were killed off way too soon and had a lot of wasted potential)
- Lori dies
- Carl dies (I DON'T want any time-jumps to suit the actor)
- No filler material like the search for Sophia
- More of an atmosphere of dread and tension (the farm gave the atmosphere a warm and cozy feel which, for one or two episodes I didn't mind, but....)

I might be wrong but I'm almost 100% sure that Mazzara or someone else said the housing plan that Andrea and Shane went to was supposed to be Wilshire. I'll try to find proof.
I believe it was Kirkman who stated that - pretty lame, if you ask me, so I'd rather pretend I hadn't read it.

At the 2012 Arizona Comic Con, Robert Kirkman confirmed that the neighborhood Andrea and Shane visited in the episode Secrets is in fact Wiltshire Estates. It was intended to be a small easter egg for the fans.
