Like SkunkWorks said.
On top of that, I really wish to see
- More info about the helicoptere from ep 1x01,
- some sort of remaining organization (army/scientist etc...),
- Morgan and his son,
- Flashback of Day 1 Z apocalypse for the main characters

- Other survivor groups
- Lori gets killed
- Ooohh, almost forgot, Morgan and Duane return.
- I also think the show seriosly need to ad a one handed racist for some reason.

- Michonne moves on Daryl. Carol gets pissed, feeds herself to the walkers.
- Lori dies. My personal preference is that she dies to a round from a certain Woodbury sniper, but I'll also settle for her being executed by the Governor/one of his lieutenants. Being eaten by zombies is just too impersonal.
- Andrea and Michonne become friends over the first few episodes of Season 3. Those two women, teaming up, could conquer the world.
- Thomas beheads Beth, goes after Andrea, who evades him enough for Rick to catch up and beat the motherloving crapola out of him. Rick displaying that kind of rage on a fellow human being would be an excellent indicator of just how much the zombie apocalypse has changed him.
- Rick and Andrea have more than 5 minutes, cumulative, of interaction. By now they ought to be friends, damn it. Her calling out Rick on his stupidity last episode was refreshing, but more on both sides of the spectrum please. For that matter, more interaction between people who aren't currently banging, please.
- More T-Dog. Even if he has to take the out that Tyreese experienced, the guy needs more scenes.
- Hershel does a heroic sacrifice to wipe out a crapload of Woodbury soldiers. The guy is a badass, and I think that would be a good death.
- So many walkers.

-Wouldn't mind seeing Tyreese someday if ever.
-Lori dead
-Sadly, this won't happen with actor already hired, but no governor. I love the governor, but considering they're there almost a year before they see him in the comics, they could span the prison across 2 seasons and have the governor in season 4
-Further evolution of Rick's character
-T-Dog!
-Smarter survival, wearing protective gear when going out, etc. That interests me more.

This and This
All I wish for is for the show to get closer to the comics. Not following panel for panel, but close is all.

I hope we get some or all of the prisoners from the book.
LOTS of zombies around the prison
And a epic battle with the Governor at the Prison.
more Glen and Maggie, and hopefully T-dogg coming into his own.

This. Though, I only want Merle to return to further develop T-Dog (assuming he makes it though the season) and Daryl. I'm hoping he's not around for too long.
Definitely looking forward to seeing the prisoners.

The Walking Dead has been said many times to be focused primarily on the interhuman conflicts and responses rather than the actual zombies. If interhuman conflict isn't your top option, you may be in for disappointment.

Wiltshire Estates was already dead, according to Kirkman at one of the previous comic cons. It was that neighborhood Andrea and Shane went to.

Never knew that, interesting. I wish they made that a bit more obvious, like perhaps including the "All dead don't enter" (or whatever it was) sign.

Rick needs more attitude, less Mr. Rogers about him.
Michonne!! Hopefully not a shadow of her book self either.
Seeing the prison would be cool too.
I'm interested in seeing how they play out the Governor/Michonne scene.
