But when Rick rode his horse into Atlanta city...doesn't seem to have any signs of napalm being dropped in the city...
Did anyone notice that?

My memory is shaky, but as Rick leaves the hospital wasn't there some sort of fire damage? I'm reckoning I'm wrong, but I have an image in my head.

There shouldn"t be any napalm burn marks at the hospital inside Rick's town that is outside of Atlanta city...napalm was not dropped there based on the flashbacks..

Ah right sorry, geography isn't my strong point; I thought Rick was taken to a large regional hospital due to the severity of his wounds.

I have a question but don't want to start a thread.
Who were the random people at the rock quarry S1 Ep2? There were a couple scenes with a heavy set Hispanic lady, an old couple, a black/Hispanic guy with a straw hat, and maybe some more children. After showing them, we didn't see them around the campfires, or during the attack on the quarry. Who were they and what happened to them?
Were they all part of Morales' group and we just never saw them outside of those couple scenes?

I think they were just walker bait for when the camp got attacked.

^That's what I figured too, but it was weird they weren't seen getting eaten/pickaxed/buried.

What do you mean we don't see the results? There were tons of burned vehicles and buildings.
In fact, the first walker Rick sees from atop his horse is in a burned out bus.

Yes, I remembered that as well. Plus, if the military and national guard were in the cities to defend the civilians (who were initially told to go to the cities) - then, I think we'd have seen more signs of combat as well, other than just the almost abandoned tank and some soldiers outside the CDC.
Not just napalm, but rubble from tanks driving over walkers and cars, burned out buildings from artillery fire, not to mention missiles from helicopters and the like. Heck, even an army of primitives should have been able to herd bunches of walkers into killing zones where they'd have been able to torch them, hit them with missile & rocket fire, run over with tanks, etc.

OK, this is where I'm going to have to say "Jesus!". It's one thing picking at holes in dialogue and plot points, but it's another to say they didn't scorch the bloody earth in order to maintain accuracy of the story.
There is little that can be done to simulate napalm being dropped on a city with the budget these guys have would be my guess. If it detracts from the show......I'd be amazed!
