What is your opinion on Jacqui. It's true that she had very little screen time but from when she was on I definitely felt that she had some good potential.

She was more useful than she has been given credit for.

1. She knew about the sewers and the knowledge from her old job made her informative.
2. When Jim got bit she yelled out "Jim's been bit!" instead of keeping it a secret and letting it come out slowly and endanger the whole camp.
3. She had snarky remarks and a sense of humor.
4. She didn't do anything stupid at all during her entire small presence on the show.
5. She was smart and realistic and unlike Andrea she achieved her goal in dying her own way.
6. She was strong and confident in her choices.
7. She was a motherly figure that also could be friendly, she seemed like she really had the potential to grow.
8. (Bonus) I got the feeling that she had some sort of deep intimacy with T-Dog, whether or not it was sexual or just friendly in nature I do not know but I feel that if she were still around that both of their characters would have developed further, faster.

It was a shame to see her go, I honestly believe that and if she were still around today, and continued to not be stupid she'd definitely be my favorite female character.

She was like Dale, not equipped to live in the ZA world. She was unlike Dale in that she opted out voluntarily.

You've summed up Jacqui quiet nicely.  In that summation is the reason for her death.  No drama, no soap opera, no vanity or stupidity.  She didn't fit into the group at all, so she died early.  I'm not being flippant with you. That's my honest opinion.

Yep, it is. Before she was famous and put on her persona. What's really strange is when people see those pictures they say she's beautiful but when I tell them it's lady gaga, it's "Nope. You're lying!"

I didn't realize who that was - wow.

Regardless of how beautiful or funky she might look, I still can't listen to her music.

I am not a modern music person and I have only seen/heard her perform a couple of times.

I kind of like it. I was a fan of new wave rock and glam rock back in the day and she reminds me of that a little.

She was a decent character with too little screen time. It's a shame she went out the way she did so soon; I feel as though she could've been one of the strongest female characters around if not THE strongest, as someone above me stated already.

With that said, I don't see what all the fuss about Jacqui is (lookin' at you person with "Bring Back Jacqui!" in her sig Posted Image). Yea she did some things contributive, but they were far and few between and so long ago she is nothing but a distant memory now. I mean, honestly, how many casual fans really even remember her? Jim had a much bigger impact, IMO (an episode revolving around him, essentially) yet is rarely talked about as well.

Sigs should read: "Bring Back Jim!" Posted Image

Errrmmmm I am a guy   Not a girl

Anyway, how have I not found this topic before?! Jaqcui was a great character. The best in fact. When she was killed off I couldn't believe it. What a waste. They could have easily used T-dog or someone instead of her. Its a shame really. She had alot of potential. I can imagine her fitting in well on the farm. I bet she would have had strong opinions about the whole killing Randall topic. Oh well, you never know maybe we will see her again. She could be in the flashback thats is supposed to be in the season 2 final or she could actually be Michonne.

Remember guys, the actress did say something like "If you watch the season one final a few times you may notice something"

She was a strong character, but not a strong presence unfortunately.

I liked what I saw of her, unfortunately they never gave her a story arc. Carol - domestic abuse, husband killed. Lori - wife of the protaganist. Andrea - lost her sister, regretful over how little she saw her.

Jacqui had.........

Shame, real shame. I read/heard that her and T-Dog were an item, any truth in that?

I certainly hope they weren't anything more than just acquaintances, since he didn't give her much more than a backwards glance and hasn't mentioned her once, since her death. :P

They'd have to give T-Dog more than his usual token black lines to give us an insight into what he's thinking/feeling. :(

He was the only one who came anywhere near to protesting her staying behind albeit in a limp sort of way, I figured it was just another example of the writers mis-handling the black characters.

Yep, I agree. She was mishandled, as is "T-Dog". Why are they in the south and not run into anymore black people?? Have the writers never visited Atlanta? Lol

Don't really have an opinion on Jacqui since she wasnt around for long and didn't do anything too significant. However I agree with backwoodsroamer that she didn't have any drama about her so didn't fit into the group. It would be refreshing however to have a voice of reason, and someone to give massive side-eye to all Lori's BS and be a stable emotional support for Carol who is in desperate need, those things Jacqui would have been awesome at. I don't see her being a badass Andrea but she could hold her own well enough. It's not realistic that every character is either useless or badassed.

P.S. Lady Gaga aka Lady Godga aka Her Lady of Gagalupe aka Queen of Everything, slays pop and is totally amazing. Posted Image

Because of my TWD withdrawals, I just watched Season 1 finale online. When Jaccqui opted out, she called T-Dogg, "Sweetie" and touched his cheek when saying good-bye. Am I reading more into this? Was this just a term of endearment? Or were those two a couple?
