Jacqui

She was more useful than she has been given credit for.
1. She knew about the sewers and the knowledge from her old job made her informative.
2. When Jim got bit she yelled out "Jim's been bit!" instead of keeping it a secret and letting it come out slowly and endanger the whole camp.
3. She had snarky remarks and a sense of humor.
4. She didn't do anything stupid at all during her entire small presence on the show.
5. She was smart and realistic and unlike Andrea she achieved her goal in dying her own way.
6. She was strong and confident in her choices.
7. She was a motherly figure that also could be friendly, she seemed like she really had the potential to grow.
8. (Bonus) I got the feeling that she had some sort of deep intimacy with T-Dog, whether or not it was sexual or just friendly in nature I do not know but I feel that if she were still around that both of their characters would have developed further, faster.
It was a shame to see her go, I honestly believe that and if she were still around today, and continued to not be stupid she'd definitely be my favorite female character.

You've summed up Jacqui quiet nicely. In that summation is the reason for her death. No drama, no soap opera, no vanity or stupidity. She didn't fit into the group at all, so she died early. I'm not being flippant with you. That's my honest opinion.

You find that confusing and distressing. Ever been dancing with a girl in a New Orleans bar and found out she wasn't.........a girl that is.

I didn't realize who that was - wow.
Regardless of how beautiful or funky she might look, I still can't listen to her music.

I am not a modern music person and I have only seen/heard her perform a couple of times.
I kind of like it. I was a fan of new wave rock and glam rock back in the day and she reminds me of that a little.

Errrmmmm I am a guy
Anyway, how have I not found this topic before?! Jaqcui was a great character. The best in fact. When she was killed off I couldn't believe it. What a waste. They could have easily used T-dog or someone instead of her. Its a shame really. She had alot of potential. I can imagine her fitting in well on the farm. I bet she would have had strong opinions about the whole killing Randall topic. Oh well, you never know maybe we will see her again. She could be in the flashback thats is supposed to be in the season 2 final or she could actually be Michonne.
Remember guys, the actress did say something like "If you watch the season one final a few times you may notice something"

I liked what I saw of her, unfortunately they never gave her a story arc. Carol - domestic abuse, husband killed. Lori - wife of the protaganist. Andrea - lost her sister, regretful over how little she saw her.
Jacqui had.........
Shame, real shame. I read/heard that her and T-Dog were an item, any truth in that?

I certainly hope they weren't anything more than just acquaintances, since he didn't give her much more than a backwards glance and hasn't mentioned her once, since her death.

They'd have to give T-Dog more than his usual token black lines to give us an insight into what he's thinking/feeling.
He was the only one who came anywhere near to protesting her staying behind albeit in a limp sort of way, I figured it was just another example of the writers mis-handling the black characters.
