Now if my family where gone i hate to say this but truthfully If i didn't off myself thru inaction because i was so destroyed i would most likely turn into a hermit living alone and as far away from everything as possible. i would stay low and hide and basically become a ghost.

Let's just hope four is your lucky number.

I would make sure to find swords or silent weapons cause guns will eventually run out of ammo. I would also make sure all my clothing or what I wear is as zombie proof as possible. Tough to bite or tear through. Chainmale or armor comes to mind. I would be a team player but would always travel in packs. Only with those I trusted and knew that cared. I would never hang out with Shane type people. Risky and untrustworthy. I would always be with Rick or Darryl helping out in anyway I could. Finding a way to create a fortifying defense around our camp would be the utmost priority in my mind. I would never sleep out side either. Stupid...

I think it would be cool to be a loner, but then you'd have no one to watch your back. A small, very well trained, highly motivated group would be best. You'd have roving packs of humans - looking to kill and plunder - and it would be best to be able to meet force with superior force.
A group would also be beneficial because you could clear out a safe area, fortify it and try to regain some sort of normalcy.

Well first id hunt this guy down and swindle him into bein my right hand man.
I am a leader type, ive learned it throughout the different situations in my life. (and no not from videogames) even when ive entered a geoup or situation as a little ol noone, somehow i end up making decisions or finding the best route to do something. Its not that im a total badass, but i have spent most of my life struggling, and eventually find ways out of the hole. I also react pretty quickly and with strategy, something ive learnedthe hard way. I also have too much of a sense of helping the weak and being a good person, which can get me into shit. Now theres still a chance that id make my way into a group where someones an even steonger leader presence, which id gladly accept if they were good at it, which im good at recognizing. In that case i would happily be thier number 2 or 3, helping the group run smoothly and survive. I would not want to go it alone.

If it was me, I'd say more of a Daryl. Mainly because growing up in a town like mine has given me street smarts
I always seen myself doing the lone wolf thing. Just taking care of myself, by myself.
But took the survival test on AMC came up with "natural leader" and which character test was "rick"
So I guess if I get in a group I get to play babysitter.

I’m on a maintenance medication. When that’s gone, I’m going to start having medical problems. They won’t kill me (for quite a while), but they can incapacitate me.
So, find a group to join. I’m a dominate personality (if there isn’t a group leader, I invariability end up being ‘the leader’, even if I don’t want to be), but I know that I won’t last, so I would shoot for second or third in command.
And then I would be the sacrificial goat when one was needed for the survival of the rest of the group.
<sigh> Painful, but true.

Also, I wouldn't really be armed very well unless there were dead soldiers nearby who were equiped with SA80s (only rifle I've had training with) and plenty of ammo or perhaps someone conveniently dropped a sword. Maybe attach a kitchen knife to a pole?
Anyways i digress, if by a long shot I survived I would hope to find like minded people as it would give me a purpose to surviving (to help the group.) My main concern would be that I know I wouldn't have it in me to actually kill another person (Zs I would be fine with), but you never know with circumstances, perhaps if family were alive and one was in danger.
If family and friends were gone and I didn't find any other survivors, I'd probably just go into there's no point mode and have a bit of fun with it, treat it as a game of left 4 dead or dead island with no saves/checkpoints, take a couple of the buggers down with me at least lol
.
^ no doubt I would die from the first one who's half my size though. Or run to a corner remembering there is no save button haha.

I'd bring you a squirrel or two to eat.
You should look into storing your medication in case of a catastrophe, just saw this http://www.youtube.c...941FAAAAAAAAAAA
Hope it helps.

I am definitely not a loner type. I am at the head of a fairly large extended family and if I ever found myself alone it would indicate a very depressing scenario. I would probably not care to survive such a situation.
I am too old to be a Shane type but I am a tough old geezer and I can take care of myself in most situations. I would hope to find a safe, defensible place for my friends and family and rely on the youngsters to do most of the wet work, Strategy.would be my long suit. At this point in my life, I think of myself more as an adviser than a leader
My group would be well armed for melee and close work but we would need to find some long guns and shot guns. We are not a hunting family..

Swedes aren't very good with guns (I think I know like two or three people who even knows how to use one), and I'm no exception. So there's really no other option for me and my comrades than trying to barricade ourselves someplace safe. I guess I'd be the person who start ration out food from the very start when other people say "we still have lots of it, we can eat some more".

Thanks - but it really wouldn't help. I have Crohn's Disease. In our excellent society, it really doesn't mess me up too badly. I'm on a maintenance medication (that, oddly enough, *lowers* my immune response). I'm also on a low fiber, low residue diet (basically meat and potatoes...).
I could raid a pharmacy and get medication (at least for a while - it wouldn't be something that people commonly go after), but the food would be a major issue for me. And it would eventually catch up with me.
It's part of the process of 'surviving'. I'm also old (50+), so I'm definitely Walker Bait. It just has to be useful or I would be annoyed.
