Pie. I hate victoria sponge. And: steak and ale. You can't have steak and ale cake. It rhymes too much.

Q: Ear phones or head phones?

Ear phones.  I often wear them at work while I am doing research because people just can't seem to stop talking.  Head phones don't seem discreet enough for this purpose.  But...  maybe if people could see head phones, they would stop bugging me!

Tea or coffee?

Oh, wait, we've had a whole thread for that...

What's your favorite kind/style of clothing? (To wear, not to see on someone else.)

Beware, I am emoticon-impaired.

I basically live in "dressy casual" clothing (a.k.a. "professor chic") - fitted, but flowy, jeans and a cute jacket,  that sort of thing.  I basically chose my profession on the basis of flexible hours, summers off, and the fact that I don't really ever have to dress like a grownup.

Tea and cake. . .or death??  Oh, wait, I think that's been done as well. . .  :P

What is your favorite season?

Autumn because: conkers.

And fewer wasps.

A woodchuck would chuck as much wood as a woodchuck could chuck, if a woodchuck could chuck wood.

Yes, I am.  The last tip I left was $4 on a bill for $11.89, IIRC.  In this instance, I actually miscalculated. Posted Image

In Dublin a couple of months ago, my husband and I tipped the waitress when we had breakfast (it was included in the hotel bill, so I don't think anyone else did).  The third morning, she gave me twice as much tea as she had the previous mornings.  I was sad it was our last day.  Who knows what she would have been giving me by day 6 or 7. :)

What kind of camera do you have?

Granny panties or something similar when no one is gonna be taking a looksy (which is often cause I'm married) However, when I'm going to the Doctor's, I skank it up. Posted ImagePosted Image

I always found it interesting how my wife walks by in the nude and I don't even look up. A lady bends over a little too far on the street and my eyes get stuck sideways trying to look without being obvious. No need to point it out, I know I'm a pig.Posted Image

Posted Image Nothing wrong with that M'lady.

My biggest pet peeve is when my family tries to talk louder than the TV and all at the same time. I tend to keep the tele loud, because I have some hearing loss in my right ear. So instead of my family muting the sound and talking, they try to talk over it. So it ends up sounding like a mad house in here.

Whoops Edit: Mint

Favorite childhood show?

Chorlton and the Wheelies.

Q: Blue skies or Thunderstorms?

EDIT: I've just re-watched the intro to Chorlton on Youtube (I recommend it) it has parallels to Game of Thrones... Daenerys is Frenella, Chorlton is Ned... The kings and the setting... It's all very Kings Landing. I wonder if GRRM used to watch this brilliant show when he looked slightly less like a Tolkien dwarf?
