Yeah they are probably not going to kill too many so that way more can die during the Savior issue and even the eventual Ohio trip.

I think Beta is going to go get that herd that Alpha showed Rick.

So what happens when they get to Ohio? That's a long trip to get back to the exact same position. If that's what's happening I'm done. What stories could he possibly tell about "the road" that haven't already been told. And why would the survivors abandon everything to walk to another state. If they live through this why not just rebuild? I guess that means that Beta wins otherwise why would they leave? It just seems like a ton of work to get back to essentially the same place.

it's just not the trip amd losing people bit it's been 2 yrs right? anything edible is beyond expired and I'm sure could make you sick and kill you, so they would have no food. then you have a baby i to worry about not only that traveling. that would take weeks if jot a month or so.

i think people complaining about a world rebuild is the issue. you can have stories and conflicts with different people and ideas on this.

a road trip would have been a good side story to tell while keeping tabbs on the 4 communities. the fact that it's been 2 yrs and they still haven't even gotten on the same page is mind boggling.

I think the time from Rick waking from the coma until the end of AOW was about 2 years....A New Beginning was maybe 2 or 3 years fater that? So yeah, it's been 4 or 5 years since it all started, most food is probably no good. They'd have to kill animals to survive on the road.

That's supposed to be different? It's not. It's the exact same.story that was told before finding the prison and after being pushed from it. Wow that last one sounds familiar. Kirmman ran out of ideas a long time ago. I've seen people make this complaint since Negan was introduced. It's the same story over and over again. It's why I left the first time and why ill leave again. I guess ill be waiting until another digital trade sale because I won't be spending 2.99 an issue for the trip to Ohio.

Well, yeah. Who told any of you Kirkman was a good writer? He's a mediocre writer. Only reason you'd be inclined to say "the earlier stuff was better" is because nostalgia and "it's the original". But this is the best he can write. And he'll keep writing this story until no one else buys the book. So far, the book keeps selling so...

Not sure if it's been brought up yet, but on the talk of a road trip if you look back at previous covers it appears that it's autumn. Now how about a story of people surviving a road trip to Ohio during the winter? A whole community of homeless people with kids would be a bad situation to be in.Pretty sure they don't have any cars anymore.. maybe a train? And I could've sworn I read in one of the letter hacks a ways back we were gonna find out in the comic if the walkers could swim......

you know. i totally forgot about how trains could be a great transportation. i mean you'll need railroads working and stuff but that would limit a lot of traveling time. especially if you could build around an old train station.

as someone from ohio. the weather varies like i figure some states around us. just 2 days ago it was like 65 degrees almost pushing near 70. in January that's such a rarity. 3 days before that it was 10 degrees. they have to have green houses around or something because you're not growing anything from august- like april if you're lucky.

You mean like Terminus from the tv show? They built around a train station, although they did nothing with it except trap people in train cars.

Food wise, they shouldn't need to grow anything. The Whisperers did just fine with wild fruits and wild game.

yea. if you can build places around trains things would be delivered much faster. the only problem. fuel source.
