Next week is the mid-season finale.  While they are on break we won't be.  We are probably going to do an episode dedicated to the last season of TWD and maybe some other shows that aren't related to The Walking Dead universe.  If there is anything you'd like us to talk about, let us know!  Maybe we will do an episode about it while we all wait for FTWD to return.

So!  The Mid-Season Finale of Fear has come and gone.  We had a lot of fun talking about it on the podcast.  So much happened in the episode.  I heard a lot of mixed reviews about it.  People seemed to either really enjoy it, while others were left wanting something else.

As a side note, even though Fear is taking a 12 weeks break, Aim for the Head Podcast will not be.  We will be releasing a bonus episode on Tuesday May 31^st where we take a dive into Season 2 of Better Call Saul.  

We will have other bonus episodes that will be released every Tuesday while FTWD is gone. Before I spend time on your podcast, can you please describe how it is more insightful than AMC's Talking Dead, and/or more speculative than the diverse ideas shared on this site? I.e, what is the unique proposition about your podcast?

I haven't ever listened to the podcast, but I guarantee you I can tell u the difference, and why it's a POSITIVE difference- AMC's TALKING Dead for (TWD or FTWD) is literally made and run by the exact same people who run and created TWD and FTWD. They will never go into, discuss, or really even bring up NEGATIVE aspects of the show. They Screen all those "live viewer phone calls" and literally cut them off if they ask / say anything negative about the show.. Talking Dead is basically All the Execs and actors patting each other on the back, as well as using it to clarify/explain/fix their slip ups that they didn't successfully convey in the context of the actual show..
That is why any fan podcast / show will ALWAYS be better than Talking Dead...

Bdizzle1686 makes really good points without even being a listen of ours.

 

We also watch The Talking Dead, and as much as I enjoy getting insight from the actors and producers who occasionally visit the show, we've always felt that they don't always talk about topics we thought they should have.  Or topics the internet is buzzing about.

 

Dianna and I used to just discuss the show during downtime at work and then thought, why not record it and share it with others who also enjoy watching the show?  Hopefully we can reach enough people that they want to talk with us.  Maybe they would want to be on the show or send us an email, or message us on a forum and we can talk with them.  

 

There are a lot of places FTWD and TWD is discussed.  We've actually tried listening to a couple different podcasts about the two shows and we couldn't find a podcast that we really 100% enjoyed.  So maybe we will be there for someone who was struggling to find a discussion group like we were.  

 

I do hope you give us a listen. Our podcast is still on the new side, but we have a podcast episode to go with every FTWD episode so far this season.  And during the FTWD break, we went back and discussed TWD S6.  If we aren't for you, then that's ok too!
