Man, I'm just not feeling E3 this year. Hardly anything's getting my attention (Mirror's Edge 2, Dishonored 2, and Horizon), and hardly anyone even seems interested during the conferences. I saw a 20 minute preview of Everybody's Gone to the Rapture on Youtube, and it was literally nothing. There just seems to be a total lack of substance from everyone this year.
Although, I have to admit that holographic gaming tech that Microsoft showed off with Minecraft blew me away. I just can't see technology such as that serving much purpose outside of creation-type games like Minecraft.
Alternatively, you could also just call me Soiled_Panties, on account of how pissy I can be.
I thought E3 this year was pretty awesome...
It was so damn cool to see a new Mass Effect game, and set in Andromeda too... Oh man.
The best part about E3 was Horizon Zero Dawn or whatever it's called. It looks so freaking cool, and this is the first time I've been excited for a new IP in basically... Forever.
Sony and Microsoft had a great conference... Nintendo's one was kind of disappointing, though, to be honest. Fallout 4 also looks good, which is cool because Fallout isn't really my thing.
Now, don't get me wrong, I like the game, I just don't love it like so many other people do. However, Fallout 4 looks to fix the problems I had with the third game. And hey, new Telltale TWD series with Michonne.. Nice!
Oh, and yeah, I guess I'm back. I was never really gone, I just haven't posted in a while. I did check out a few posts now and then, though.
"There's no "I" in team"
"Yeah, there's no "U" either. So I guess if I'm not on the team, and you're not on the team, nobody's on the God damn team. The team sucks!"
Yeah, I suppose. I didn't disappear for the off season though, I was just kinda busy or whatever. Lots of stuff happening.
I was checking out some of the posts here, but I never got around to posting something myself, until now.

We all thought you got really, really wasted or something, haha. But seriously though, you never did tell us how old you turned!

I won't lie, this shit has been eating away at me
Imagine a group of a hundred motorcycles driving down a freeway. Eventually, they hit a junction. One road goes northwest and the other goes northeast. So one guy, we'll call him S, says, "Let's go northwest!" A mile past the intersection, a semi careens into the group and kills ninety of them. Ten are wounded, but they survive and keep going. Eventually, they hit 10,000 miles. S suddenly has his consciousness thrown into his past body right before the junction. Now, he says, "Let's go northeast!" All 100 bikers survive. Happily ever after, right? But what about the ten, no nine, who went northwest and survived? What happens to the reality they were living? Does it just disappear now that S has changed the past? It's not like only bad things happened on that 10,000 mile journey. Maybe one of them fell in love with a gas station attendant and got her pregnant or maybe one adopted a homeless kid that joined the adventure. That 10,000 mile journey would be full of stories. Romances, farewells, friendships...the loss of those ninety lives is horrible and unfortunate, but what would rewriting their history mean? The nine who survived lived full lives and did the best they could with the hand they were dealt. How could it be right to just erase all that? Isn't that worth something? Is there a point to a world where everything is happy? Are people who struggle for a better life just idiots? Being human is about fighting even when it seems hopeless and finding happiness in a world that hates it. Are you saying that's worthless?

Well I don't really drink, so I was sober the whole time. Not sure if that's considered to be better, but it's the truth!

Oh yeah, I never even got to say thanks to everyone for all the Birthday wishes, soooo... Thanks!
And about my age... Well, if you look back at the thead, (I think it was the rave thread) a lot of people made a guess. I can confirm
that only one of you got it right, but most of you got pretty close... Don't we all love a mystery... Eh? Eh? Am I right? Eh?...
Hm.
Okay.
"There's no "I" in team"
"Yeah, there's no "U" either. So I guess if I'm not on the team, and you're not on the team, nobody's on the God damn team. The team sucks!"
This is unacceptable

Well, I can't do that. I have to keep it as a surprise. So I guess I have to leave hints instead. Starting with:
"JesusMonroe was the ******!" That good enough? How about: "Congratulations to JesusMonroe for guessing the ******* answer!" Or even: "You guessed it, JesusMonroe, I am indeed ** years old!".
That should keep you all guessing for a few years, I was deliberately vague. (<<Joking?) Also, last hint: The hidden words are not expletives or insults. I don't need to be banned just yet.
Have fun trying to figure out that near impossible puzzle, anyways. Also, to avoid going too far off topic, please enjoy this amazing Metal Gear Solid V E3 gameplay:
It's beautiful.

You really should, you can beat the main story mission in about an hour, so it's not going to take much time away from your day or anything.
I got it on the Xbox 360 last year, but I've since bought a PS4 and it's great being able to try the superior version of the game for free.

Damn, it's that short? I know Phantom Pain is the main part, but I figured it was longer than that!
I know it's only a CG trailer, but this actually got me pretty stoked. Shame the actual game probably won't come anywhere near looking this good. Anybody see any gameplay?
Oh man, I totally forgot about that game. I was pumped when they released the trailer..back in 2013. Since then, CD Projekt RED have been pretty quiet on it's development process as they are busy with The Witcher 3 release and DLC. But I believe they did say once all of the DLC has been released, their focus will be fully on CP 2077. I don't think we will see any gameplay until the next E3 unfortunately.
