The more I think about it, the location - Los Angeles - may turn out to be an inspired choice.

15 million people locked into a relatively confined area. Few roads out of the place and all are bound to choked with cars trying to flee the place........but flee to where? If (and its a massive if) you can actually get out of LA, you can soon find sparsely populated areas but water will be a never ending challenge.

So, you tough it out on the streets of LA. Or find a gated community and bunker down hoping the government will find a way to fix things.

The rapid descent into chaos and lawlessness is likely to make Georgia seem like paradise.
