Probably.. if not, that'd be too easy. It'd either end with the helicopters not seeing the group and them being frustrated and going back to exactly what they're doing, or the helicopters pick them up and things become way too easy with too little struggle for survival.

Oooo, good call. But without Sophia? They might not find her for awhile yet. And once Rick finds out Lori is knocked up, wouldn't he want to stay somewhere where it's safe where they can 'settle' and stay relatively risk free?

Psychologically it's not always a good idea for a parent to go looking for a lost one. Plus for one thing she probably doesn't have the skills necessary, and she'd be a risk because she may impulsively start calling for her daughter and attract walkers... though I think that they should take the risk now and again to see if she is within ear-shot.
Also she's been an abused woman and that takes a heavy toll on self-confidence and personality traits. Not to mention that she is still very likely still grieving. Yeah even over that bastard that beat her, some women still find it in them to love the man-beast they married.
She's been through a lot to say the least. Like Rick, Carl and T-Dog she needs some convalescence time to get better.

You're right, she seems to always have been a 'wait and see' type.

Is this Daryl as a zombie toward the end?! I'd be so pissed as he's my favorite character.

EDIT: If the helicopter scene isn't a flashback, it's probably the group finding Woodbury.
EDIT 2: And seeing Merle should put an end to the Merle=Governor debate. Should be interesting to see how Daryl reacts though. Merle is shown in the woods - so either he's the one that injures Daryl, or maybe Merle is trying to injure T-Dog or Rick, and Daryl gets in the way of it... I think Merle's holding a vendetta against Rick and T-Dog - Rick for locking him up, T-Dog for dropping the key.

Even though I have read the comics, the addition of those two characters alone has made watching exciting. I really hope they don't off Daryl. I think Norman is an amazing actor and plays a guy struggling mentally with the fact that he's helping a group that didn't really care that his brother was gone.

Good point. He could be halluscinating too if he's just hit his head. Throwing Merle into the preview would have most folk thinking he returns only to have him as a vision, halluscination or flashback would be a cool twist. Keeps the audience waiting a little longer for his return, ha.
Also, I expect Merle to hold something of a grudge against Daryl. They're family. While we've seen that Daryl went out of his way to look for him at the beginning, he's since stuck with the group. I expect Merle to be a little pissed that he hasn't enacted some revenge or just left the group altogether in an attempt to find him.

My other prediction is that Anreas progression into badassdom will start with her giving Merle a third eye socket via rifle, she has one next to her whe she says "WALKER!". Maybe the walker she spots is Daryl and there are walkers chaing him???
IIRC there is a promotional still where rick and shane are holding up a really jacked up Daryl wearing what they have on in that preview.
Hopefully the "what to do with the walkers" difference of opinion between the Herchels and the Grimeses comes to a head.

They wont. He and Shane are kind of essential in the tv series. And i love that.
