I noticed this from last weeks episode, after Daryl shot the walker in the head when he and Carol were in that building... why did he put it in his mouth after he pulled it out??? Ewwwwwww.. Or was it another bow or something? It looked like the same bow he shot the walker with.

Hahaha! I had the exact same thought when re-watching last week's episode tonight! Fantastic. I know, you would think someone would pick that up at least in editing for continuity.

In episode 4 of season 1 he shot a Vatos member (I believe his name was Phelippe) in his butt with an arrow that most likely went through multiple walker heads seeing how Daryl reuses his arrows. We never know if that had an effect on him, just like we don't know whether the Terminants will die and turn after eating tainted meat. 

 

Did the arrow go fully through the walkers head? Maybe only the tip went in and Daryl put only a part more to the tail of the arrow in his mouth. Still I wouldn't risk it either.

I've always thought that was gross too. I know they're all infected already, and I know he's not licking the tips right after a kill, but still.

There have been a few threads like this one over the years with different characters, knives or arrows, and whatever other products along the way.  I've always been grossed out by the thought but at this point I think the actors do this occasionally to get to the fans as a sort of inside joke especially with Daryl's arrows or bolts.  AT this point I figure since they all have the virus some of them no longer care in a sort of sense.  For the past two years if you look at the actors faces after killing the walkers there would be know way that a few splatters of blood didn't land in their mouths along the way.  I still think the idea of putting the arrow in the mouth should be edited out though.
