I think Dwight wants his "treachery" to mean something to Negan. Negan has slighted him at every chance- add that to the Sherry and ironing thing, I think Dwight wants Negan to see him and regret his underestimation.- Remember I'm talking from Dwight's POV. Not mine. I still think Dwight will fuck it up somehow.

PT- I still wonder why Jesus chose to omit the Negan info- and if he has a plan of his own.. ;)

That might be but these guys are not the brightest bulbs in the lamp i am sure they could be distracted somehow or hell even paid off in someway maybe with the promise of more power in the group or points.

They seem to not be as loyal to negan as we are lead to belive when we were shown the inner workings of the sanctuary.

Most just seemed to be going with the motions like the hilltop people that just did whatever Gregory said or doing Negans bidding to keep their families alive and well with enough points to live.

The point system really could keep people dling shit they dont want to do i see it as a commentary on the american money system.

Actually Negan's model is more of a Socialistic model- I have been saying this from day one.

All serve the greater good of all- either earning points mopping the floor, cooking, etc. - or serve as Conscripts in Negan's Army. As as was in Soviet Russia, Communist China and North Korea today-the Army get the top benefits the best food and apparently drugs and alcohol- Negan being the Leader gets the most.

Sorry went a little OT but that's the flaw with socialism in this society- GREED- and an easy bribe could work- hell something simple like a set of twins...

They made such a big fuss about jesus telling the "truth" that they dedicated a few pages to him making them "trust" him.

After gaining that trust jesus betrays it by taking rick to the hilltop and getting them messed up in this garbage without giving him the whole "truth" about the communitys.

I don't see Jesus being power hungry honestly. I think he omitted information about Negan & the Saviors along with the Kingdom specifically because Rick already didn't trust him when Jesus first came to ASZ. Hell, Rick knocked him out and tied him up and kept him prisoner for 1-2 days, so Jesus had to calculate what he told Rick very carefully because for all Rick knew, he was one of this Negan guys men and Rick would have no qualms about killing him, and it was certainly in Jesus' best interest to not be killed while trying to make a connection with RIck & the ASZ. I think Jesus has had a plan all along to unite the communities so they stood a chance against Negan and his army of dimwits. Again though, I think the plan is for good and not so Jesus can cap Rick in the ass and takeover when all is said and done. I feel he is truly behind Rick and on his side. Wouldn't that be a plot twist though if at the end of AOW, Jesus just shoots Rick in the head. Haha

It was manipulation

Jesus went to Rick asking if he wanted to trade with Hilltop. This clearly isn't true considering Hilltop was barely running with the amount they were giving to the Saviors. He obviously couldn't just go up to Rick and say, "I need you to help me kill this guy." He enticed Rick with goods. Then when Rick finds out about Negan LATER, he's more willing to help now that he's seen everything the Hilltop has accomplished.

Does that Jesus an asshole? Somewhat, but he was looking out for the interests of his people. Rick asked the not heavily trained Kingdom to go to war with him and got most of them killed

Imagine a group of a hundred motorcycles driving down a freeway. Eventually, they hit a junction. One road goes northwest and the other goes northeast. So one guy, we'll call him S, says, "Let's go northwest!" A mile past the intersection, a semi careens into the group and kills ninety of them. Ten are wounded, but they survive and keep going. Eventually, they hit 10,000 miles. S suddenly has his consciousness thrown into his past body right before the junction. Now, he says, "Let's go northeast!" All 100 bikers survive. Happily ever after, right? But what about the ten, no nine, who went northwest and survived? What happens to the reality they were living? Does it just disappear now that S has changed the past? It's not like only bad things happened on that 10,000 mile journey. Maybe one of them fell in love with a gas station attendant and got her pregnant or maybe one adopted a homeless kid that joined the adventure. That 10,000 mile journey would be full of stories. Romances, farewells, friendships...the loss of those ninety lives is horrible and unfortunate, but what would rewriting their history mean? The nine who survived lived full lives and did the best they could with the hand they were dealt. How could it be right to just erase all that? Isn't that worth something? Is there a point to a world where everything is happy? Are people who struggle for a better life just idiots? Being human is about fighting even when it seems hopeless and finding happiness in a world that hates it. Are you saying that's worthless?

I know logically It makes sense that he would withold that information because if Rick had known what he was getting in to, he would have refused protecting his people's interests first. That makes sense....

I should start using 'My dick is a full boner' as a real saying..... Wonder how that'll turn out.

But seriously, Davis should have lived and why was he only introduced in 120.

I think you will get the same reaction out of people, i did when i started saying "let's fuck this dog" like abe. I got nothing but wierd/dirty looks from people. Hell , a coworker came and asked me if it was a reference to beastieality act that i was into... All and all i dont care about what others think of me, but just a funny response

Like jesusmonrow is correct. Is was changed to Gregory in the hardcovers... When though it was brought up in 120' letter hacks, that Gregory is just so into him self, and that is why he doesn't know/remember names. I have suspicious, that its more of a insider joke, that the fact Gregory's name was mis printed/Kenneth when Jesus first mentioned him. It seems that THis, is more of a good reason, than what RK, said. But we all know how he rarely owns up to his mistakes in this book.... IMO

Before this issue, I had been reading the comics online for free because I was too cheap and lazy to actually purchase them. Upon the release of the latest issue, I decided to change my ways. So today, I drove to my nearest comic book store and picked up issue 120 along with the 10th anniversary edition of the first issue. Two excellent issues to begin my collection.

To me, "let's fuck this dog" sounds so weird especially in its context. When people from the industry around me say someone is "fucking the dog" at work it means theyre a lazy and unproductive worker, & an entire work crew of unproductive workers is reffered to as a puppy mill.
