Looking forward to the Nailbiter / Crown of Shadows episode. Should be creepy!
I can't tell you how much I enjoy your show! Halfway through that last Chew I put the issue down and went online to reserve Hitchhikers' from my local public library. Didn't catch the Easter Eggs, but it just had such a Hitchhiker feel to it that I couldn't resist. And when Mr. Blahg pointed them out, it all made sense.
Every week you guys make me look at something I didn't notice before or think about it in a different way. I love your show - really helps to extend the Wednesday high, so thank you so much!
Thanks so much, DreaM! That really means a lot!
I will send email.............
Got it, PT. Knew we could count on you for a letter on that title!!

Im about to start reading Revival after hearing you guys talk about it in the show, quick question is there no volume 2? I can get volume 1 but by looking how many singles have been released theres more than enough for the next volume and I don't want to have to buy the entire collection in single issues.

PT, Excellent description of Nailbiter being like Silence of the Lambs on meth and beer! I spit out a little of my coffee this morning when I heard that. And I think there might be some Scooby-Doo magic going on. Things seem hinky until someone reveals a smoke machine and the masks come off...
Another great episode guys. I especially liked the present-absent Nina comments. And I totally missed the shadows being variations of Dodge in the well. I thought Kinsey's was her Fear, and didn't know what was going on with Tyler...

I was out in SF this weekend, so I forgot to post the link to the latest episode.
Episode 21: Saga #21 and Revival #22
The Layman interview was great, Grace. Writers aren't usually so spoiler-y. It would be great if you got him back after the upcoming he-will-be-hated issues.
I'm glad you enjoyed it, DreaM! I follow Layman on Twitter, and he does tend to enjoy giving lots of teasers. He's been giving hints about this arc for months!
Layman did agree to come back and chat with us after this current arc is finished, and I recently had a conversation with Rob Guillory (the CHEW artist), and he said he'd like to join John. Hopefully, we can get it all worked out. I think it would be tons of fun.
Ahh gutted I lost track of my days in a drunken stupor and forgot new issue of Saga was out so didn't get to send a letter in :/
Just about to read it now
There is always next time!

Damn, I'm behind. On my reading and these podcasts...I got a lot to do tonight it seems
Imagine a group of a hundred motorcycles driving down a freeway. Eventually, they hit a junction. One road goes northwest and the other goes northeast. So one guy, we'll call him S, says, "Let's go northwest!" A mile past the intersection, a semi careens into the group and kills ninety of them. Ten are wounded, but they survive and keep going. Eventually, they hit 10,000 miles. S suddenly has his consciousness thrown into his past body right before the junction. Now, he says, "Let's go northeast!" All 100 bikers survive. Happily ever after, right? But what about the ten, no nine, who went northwest and survived? What happens to the reality they were living? Does it just disappear now that S has changed the past? It's not like only bad things happened on that 10,000 mile journey. Maybe one of them fell in love with a gas station attendant and got her pregnant or maybe one adopted a homeless kid that joined the adventure. That 10,000 mile journey would be full of stories. Romances, farewells, friendships...the loss of those ninety lives is horrible and unfortunate, but what would rewriting their history mean? The nine who survived lived full lives and did the best they could with the hand they were dealt. How could it be right to just erase all that? Isn't that worth something? Is there a point to a world where everything is happy? Are people who struggle for a better life just idiots? Being human is about fighting even when it seems hopeless and finding happiness in a world that hates it. Are you saying that's worthless?
