I was 17/18. Here's the story:
I grew up on hill, with a dirt road in the sticks. The accident took place in the middle of the winter, which in Vermont can be pretty gnarly. One of my best friends also lived on the road. We grew up together and started our first band together (he played guitar, I played bass). We would practice in his moms basement and for the longest time we didn't have a legit PA system. He finally saved up enough money bought one. At the time he didn't have his drivers license yet and after school he wanted to run home and grab it, and for some reason, bring it back to the school to test it out. Since I had my license I drove. We grabbed it from his moms and then headed back down the hill. Right before his house the road has a pretty big curve and I remember only going 20mph around the corner and the back end of my Buick swung out and I started fish-tailing all over. I managed to regain control and landed the car into a guard rail. And of course there was an oncoming car, but luckily they saw what was up and stopped way before I would have hit them. Since Buick's are tanks, the only thing that got damaged was the guard rail. The rest of the trip was uneventful. Haha. Most other car accidents that have happened to my vehicles have been hit & run - my car was parked and someone clipped it, backed into it, or in one case dropped a beer bottle off a roof at an ex's old apartment (roof party) and smashed my windshield. Oy vey. Anyway, now I'm rambling.
I'm gonna go with the same HOWY?
