It's not that bad, but when I was about 13 I thought I liked this girl I barely knew. She seemed nice and all, but turned out to be a complete bitch.
I just consider myself stupid for being so shallow, but oh well. The mistake was trying to get to know her, because when I did she went around telling everyone how much of a goober I was.

I was 19, but I'm not exactly sure if it was a mistake or not. I was offered a contract to play jazz on a cruise ship. It was approximately 9-12 months long. It was a great and exciting opportunity, but I decided against it. I was in college and I knew if I took it, I wouldn't finish my education. Instead, I stopped pursuing music as a career, got a degree in psychology (hate that I did that), and am now going back to school for an electronics/photovoltaic technology degree.
